I was disappointed to see that Langass Lodge was closed during my stay in North Uist in January 17. Langass I have written about before on this site and is on my list of Global favourite restaurants. Therefore with Langass closed where else was there to go on the Island to try and match the same atmosphere, superb food and...

This was my 5th visit to the island and my first stay at Hamersay. I had always 'lodged' at Langass and I admit that I was worried that Hamersay would be no comparison. I was wrong. Loyalties disappeared the moment we stepped inside. Like Langass, we were instantly made to feel at home. Abigail and her team gave us the...

This was a return visit to the hotel and for dinner. Our last visit had been over a year ago when we had enjoyed a bar snack one evening. On this occasion we eat in the restaurant. The food was of the highest standard and the service was equally good. We were keen to sample the food as the hotel...

Stayed at the Hotel in June while cycling the Outer Hebrides. Arrived at the hotel after a very wet and windy day.int he saddle. The rooms, are modern, clean and well appointed. The staff were the friendliest we met all week and the fish & chips in the bar was the best I have had a in a long while

We were booked for two days and ended up staying for three as our ferry was cancelled due to high winds. We had a fantastic stay. Our room was comfortable. The staff were an amazing team and the ethos was really good. Made to feel very welcome indeed. The highlight has to be the chef. Food was fantastic. My husband...

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast is excellent as is the evening meals. Quality of food is outstanding. I would definitely recommend this hotel for both the rooms and quality of food.

Stayed here for two nights, the room I had on the second floor was excellent and the restaurant food was great. The hotel workers there were cheerful and friendly. This hotel was an excellent decision by Rabbies for our tour group to stay in.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and were very impressed with the welcoming from the staff. The room we had was ok but the bathroom with bath, shower and toilet was very small. The room was overall comfortable. The restaurant was good and when we were there it was very quiet. The food was of good standard. Overall...

We had booked a table in the bar for 2 at 6:15, we wanted to eat early as we had been out walking all day. We arrived a little early, and were a bit wary as the outside was different to all other hotels and restaurants we had seen, quite modern and attractive, so wernt sure what to expect. Very...
