Stayed there in February 2017 for a ski holiday. We booked with another family thinking that if apartment was meant to sleep 8, it surely would be set up for 2 families. The apartment had 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms. One of the bedrooms was double bedroom while another two bedrooms were tiny with 3 sort of bunk beds packed...

We had a coffee and cake. It was quite OK, average and standard norwegian place. Prices er normal although it is located in one of two biggest ski centres in Norway. It is just on the buttom of ski slopes.

By far the best place to stay in when you're visiting beautiful Hemsedal. The best ski resort in Scandinavia. Good kids are, extremely good off piste skiing. Good sport store with nice brands. Overall great resort.

The food was great and good value for a eat-all-you-can buffet. The decor was nice and comfortable. Coffee and cakes were fab. There were a few shops : a sports shop, gift shop and a supermarket. The ski rental had fantastic equipment and was hassle free.

What a great location !, we was extremely impressed with the size of our 3 bedroom apartment, as there was only 4 people in our party !, We took a half board option and was allocated vouchers to eat in a nearby restaurant, Norway is expensive but quite on par with other European ski resorts, Ski is great !, All...

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Perfectly positioned for a wonderful family break away. Right on the slopes, clean comfortable studio that slept 2 adults and child on pull out sofa bed. Our room overlooked the slopes. English channels on tv. Free fast wifi everywhere even on the transfer coach. We went self catering, room was equipped with microwave, dishwasher,...

We have stayed here many times, but this year it was just 2 of us, so we had one of the smaller apartments here. As usual, very high standard of cleanliness and nothing looks old or tired. I can look out of my window from my comfy bed and see the slopes, they look lovely lit up at night. There...

Nice and large apartment with 6 bedrooms and 14 beds. Only problems were the noise from afterskiing parties and that the kitchen was too small to cope with cooking for the twelve persons in our party. However, I can definitely recommend this place if you want to be close to the pistes and kids' area of Hemsedal. Bevare that there...

Great apartments, excellent location and amenities. We travelled 2 families with 2 kids - having the bar and the mini market shop in the building was just great, and ski-in, ski-out was a bless with the kids (and adults). Some local bars / restaurants were not open yet (we stayed the week before xmas), but was enough for the adults...

Positives: - nice modern, clean rooms - staff friendly and helpful when available - ski pass, ski rental and supermarket all in the building. Very convenient. Negatives: - free wifi only downstairs in restaurant - thin walls and ceilings: anyone walking in ski boots sounds like a herd of elephants - bit hard to get to on public transport. ***THE...

“From the lay-out of the lodge, there should not be any "bad rooms" per se! Logic says you may want to be at the other end from the bar when the lodge is full and the party starts!”

“The rooms at the back overlook the slopes - nice, the ones at the front overlook the car parks an electrical distribution compound Oh and some mountains - not too bad but the back looks nicer.”
