My husband and I stayed here over 25 years ago (not December 2015)! From the sounds of the recent reviews, not much has changed. It's still beautiful! The Moffat family owned and operated the place then and could not have been nicer or more welcoming. After returning home from a long day out, we were offered biscuits and tea. In...

While driving up the long driveway to the house was met by a beautiful cow and her calf. The lady of the house was such a pleasant woman who met our every need. The Irish breakfast was fabulous. Such a quite and relaxing place.

Just outside of Crossmolina, the GPS made it a little hard to find, but it was worth it! An old style country estate, with a fantastic view of Nephin Mountain, and sheep grazing in the fields. Madge's hospitality was second to none! After we settled in she had a proper tea for us in the sitting room with homemade scones...

A wonderful country mansion with whiffs of old England , its the perfect place to stay when you want to experience this part of Ireland (Achill Island, Ballycroy, the trails around Lough Feeagh etc) Homey atmosphere , the landlady...

I stayed at Kilmurray House for 8 Bed and Breakfasts in August 2013. Madge looked after me exceptionally well in her lovely country home which was very clean, comfortable and well situated for meeting up with relations and friends and for touring. A wide choice of breakfasts were available, catering for all tastes. I highly recommend Kilmurray House as a...

Like another reviewer, this was a unexpected detour for our group, and so pleasant! The home is just lovely out in the country. Madge, the owner is very welcoming, and helpful. The rooms were very clean, large and comfortable. The breakfast was just wonderful traditional Irish breakfast, with plenty of it! The home is older, but wonderfully maintained, and very...

I came across Kilmurray House after an unexpected detour whilst travelling through Co. Mayo. It is out in the country but a perfect spot to stay and explore Mayo. Very traditional family run B&B with a warm and friendly welcome (and a cup of tea in your room with chocolate biscuits - what more could you want). My room was...
