We ordered a ham, artichoke, mushroom, olive and mozzarella pizza to share. Great crust, good sauce, and typical of pizza here, light in topping, but tasty! Not the best pizza we've had, but good. We also chose the house vino (red) which was €13 for a liter. Good taste! What makes this a good place to stop for a meal...

Great Food and very helpful staff make this a perfect place to stay if you are driving. The breakfasts were amazing. Be sure to ask them to make a reservation at the tiny restaurant in the next town for you. It is amazing food and very reasonably priced!

This hotel is actually in the tiny settlement of Lucignano d'Arbia, neighbouring Monteroni d'Arbia, which is on the Siena to Rome road. The hotel makes up what feels like a good half of the village which comprises two lovely mediaeaval gates, a church (ask for the keys at hotel reception) and perhaps 50 houses and residences. The hotel is very...

We were holidaying in Tuscany in August and passed this place at about 14.00 very hungry and thirsty. We stopped to ask if they did lunch and were told that the kitchen was closed but they could put something cold together for us (family of four). A spectacular lunch was prepared and served in the wonderfully cool cellars. So friendly...

Very comfortable, all staff were very helpful but in particular Leonardo was very flexible and helpful as was the owner, his father. A family run business and it shows that they care about the experience of their customers. Central location for driving around Tuscany. Great food, very pleasant atmosphere, clean rooms, outdoor terrace. Lots of space, authentic Italian decor -...

We arrived at the Borgo Antico in Lucignano hot and tired after a day's walk on the Via Francigena from Siena (none of the potential refreshment stops was open on a Sunday). Leonardo, who was at the reception desk, kindly found us bottles of water while we checked in.He was very efficient and extremely helpful throughout our visit. The building...

Borgo Antico is a really good choice for those who want to discover to small towns of Tuscany. So, if you are just looking to see Siena, this hotel might not be the best option. The hotel has big rooms, with a great view of the camp, and a really good restaurant (you should eat there at least one night)....

If you have a car, the hotel is no more than a 15 minute drive to Siena, through of couple of very small villages and the Tuscan countryside... providing for a picturesque "commute" that is not at all unpleasant! Plus, there is a large (and free) parking lot across the street from the hotel so you don't have to worry...

Stayed 1 night in May 2014 as part of a wider 51 day trip through parts of Europe. Paid €69 pn for each double motel room. Twins pushed together with king sheets, etc. Rooms 106 (grd flr) and 223 (2nd flr). Room 106 was larger and had a kettle and cups, etc. Room 223 did not. Both cost same price....
