Sandra and Kete are such warm and hospitable persons who will try their utmost to make you feel at home and enjoy the beautiful island of Maupiti! After 2 weeks of island hopping and eating in restaurants, we really looked forward to having some home made food. Well, we got exactly what we had hoped for and more! The dinners...

Unfortunately, we only stayed two nights at Sandra and Kété's place. In retrospect we should have stayed five nights and rather cut our stay in Bora Bora short. The island of Maupiti is just a real gemstone: a small island that you can walk around in 3 hours, hardly any traffic, and just real traditional without any mass tourism. You'll...

S & P are really nice hosts and they make sure you enjoy yourself. The rooms are quite small and needed some refurbishment. Food was nice. The pension is a few minutes walk from the beach - on which you probably will be all by yourself (except for the dogs). You will be disappointed with the lodging if you expect...

Never stayed in pension before as i hear a lot of disapproving comments, but this has changed my thinking about staying in family-run pension. Pension Tereia offers an authentic polynesian living. Like other said in this review, we felt like we are part of the family. Location - 5 minutes walk to the beach. Convenient and no hassle of taking...

We are two couples who wanted to experience life on one of Tahiti's smaller islands. We were not disappointed. Kette and Sandra, along with their son Manu, gave us the best time. From the moment they picked us up at the wharf by the air strip, until we said good bye, we had a memorable time. This part of the...

If you are looking for a genuine polynesian exprience GOT TO TEREIA PENSION!!!!!!! I've travelled through more than 26 countries as a backpacker but I've never seen hospitality like in this pension. I felt like a family member all the 7 nights I stayed there. Now I'm in Bora Bora, but missed Maupiti a lot! The best island on earth...
