Food: The food was absolutely fantastic. It was mouth-watering each day we stayed there. Even though we were in Kerala and expected only the Keralite food to be good, the other food items from different cuisines were just as good if not better. Food rating 6 out of 5 stars. Hospitality: The hospitality was also top-notch, it was very comforting. The best way to put it is that every staff and housekeeping member felt like a family member. Hospitality rating 5 out of 5 stars. Location/Atmosphere of the resort: Beautiful. Even though the resort was in a sort of "congested-village area" it felt like we were in a paradise away from cities and villages etc. The landscaping job has been done amazingly. Location/Atmosphere rating 4.5 out of 5 stars. Our room: It was super cozy and luxurious. We had our own private pool that overlooked a beautiful lake. The view from the pool was amazing. However, after 2 days of use the underwater visibility in the pool went down quite a bit. But overall, our room was still very nice. Room rating: 4 out of 5 stars. Entertainment: The options for entertainment were pretty decent too. We had two TVs in our room but there was a low signal which was inconvenient while watching. The other outdoor entertainment options were zipline across the lake, paddle boating, bamboo rafting, etc. across the lake too, and cycling. There was a place where you could play billiards and carrom too. All of this stuff was good enough to keep us entertained for all the days of our trip and we didn’t feel bored. Entertainment rating: 4 out of 5 stars Overall: This was one of the best resorts I have ever visited. We will definitely visit this again. Overall resort rating: 5 out of 5 stars!…
I spend a couple of days in the resort. A vast resort with good staff. We had food in their restaurant, good food, good service, and room service was also nice with restaurant staff quickly delivering food all the time. But if it rains, everything turns upside down. Many closets, we were unable to use, even some of the bath areas we were unable to use as the water was not draining. The resort had high tea which was good and a couple of activities like fishing which was fun. A good resort to spend time, but make sure it is not raining.
Not so great experience overall. The property is huge and beautiful but the rooms were not so great. Had to call the reception to get some basic things like slippers, toiletries which should ideally be present before guest arrival. The floor of the rooms were a bit old style. The showers heads also appeared old and clumsy. Not the experience you expect from a 5 star resort. Some renovation of the interiors would definitely be a great add on. Additionally the website also calls out on a few complimentary services which are not actually complimentary but chargeable. Basic services like paddle boat are charged 600+. While the cost is not so much their website is misleading. The also call spa and jacuzzi to be complimentary but when asked to book we were told it is already taken up by all the guests who have booked a spa service. Kids pool was dirty…
