We stayed 3 nights here while visiting Emei Shan. The room was spacious and comfortable with some nice touches like slippers and a hairdryer which for the price was good. The owner was somewhat insistent that we eat at the hotel restaurant which was a little off putting but we did eat there on the second night and the food... More

What a quaint little hotel. Right in the middle of town, walking distance to food, the buses up the mountain and to other destinations. we even walked to the hot pools one night. They were great in giving advice when we asked. Good feel kinda like a YMCA but when we went to our room we couldn't hear a thing.... More

Great location - right next to the bus station; rooms are spacious, staff are helpful - they created this brilliant map of the mountain with precise distances and time estimations between landmarks for those who want to hike it. We moved a lot faster than their estimations but it was helpful nonetheless. I would have given 4 or 5 points... More

Teddy Bear is great. Staff is great. Provide free maps of the mountain to plan and give you good advice on your walk up Emei Shan and provide free bamboo sticks (have to pay for them if you walk up the mountain) You can store your stuff there while you walk up. They will also pick you up at one... More

Our room (double bed) was superb, as was the service at reception. The offer awesome tips and guides, as well as all the jelp you might need arranging hikes & trasportation. This was our most favorite Hostel in China so far! Really nice place.

We found the Teddy Bear Hotel to be just about adequate. The room was badly designed and the bathroom not very pleasant. The Teddy Bear theme did not appeal to us, it was like sleeping in a play school. The glass bathroom door was broken and had a sharp bit of glass sticking out into the room - very dangerous.... This is the place to stay in Emei Shan. We used it as a base to the mountain (1 night here, 1 in the mountain and back here for the last day). They have a lot of useful advice to give (in English!) and you can borrow bamboo sticks for free (you will need them). Very clean and excellent value... More

The plan of trip they gave was detail and very helpful, one of the new waitress was very helpful, I was alone and not sure how to climb, she made sure I got all the details. The hotel was very disappointed, leaking air-con, my room was assigned at the back of stuff rest area, smelly, dirty, noise, unable to sleep... More

The location is great. It's easy to get to from the bus station -- take 5A about three stops. Easy to get to the mountain. Facility was so-so. For the price I'm not in a position to argue. However, the front staff either were nice but didn't seem to have any answers, or they had answers but seemed extremely disinterested... More
