I found the breakfast to be excellent, lots of choice. Bedrooms are quite good, a little basic but adequate. Reception excellent, very knowledgeable and very helpful. I was allowed to leave my luggage while visiting the Mountain

It is situated near Emei Shan Tourism Passenger Centre, the last stop for the coaches from Chengdu. Visitors joined the local tour groups gathered in the early morning at the road side near the entrance of Emei Shan Grand Hotel to board the big buses to bring them to the entrance of Mt Emei. The journey took about 15 minutes.... More

An interesting hotel that obviously (to me) serves a high turnover of passing guests for the nearby Mt Emei. Theres no real reason to stay more than one night in the area from what I could see. I though the location and nearby "town" were quite nice and upcoming. Breakfast is a bit odd, in that it is mostly served... More

This is definitely a remote area so - for the area this was a good hotel. My room was old, clean, and had upscale bed linens. The room was very large and I had everything I needed for the stay. There was some minor mold in the bath area and mosquitos in the room when I checked in. The breakfast... More

We stayed here only one night to visit Mt. Emei. Resort-like grounds with lobby, rooms, restaurant etc. all in separate buildings. Grounds were very pretty and well manicured. Room however was definitely not 4 or 5 star - very average. Air cond wasn't working and didn't want to leave windows open as the Mosquitos were HUGE!! Damp and mildew smelling... More

I've stayed in this hotel mid September. One can't say wheather it is good or not. I personaly found it not to be too good. If i visit Emei Shan again, i will not stay in it. Hotel itself is on a nice ground, and it is quite large. You can't say it is a resort, because it isn't but... More

The location and grounds of this hotel are great but the room was really not good. I think the humidity is used as an excuse instead of really cleaning the rooms and use of bleach to win over the mildew/mold in the bathroom. Many reviews mention the rooms smelling moldy. I don't remember this but I did have creamy vanilla... More

I only stayed here for one night to visit Mt Emei as part of a tour. The room was decent in size and clean bathrooms but the bed is the firmest so far in the trip. I agree from previous reviews that the room had a certain odour to the place but it went away when the A/C kicked in... More

I visited this hotel for one night through a travel tour. The location was nice. It's on a very cute street with lots of little shops and restaurants (with live chickens/rabbits/frogs/snails/crayfish/fish in cages along the streets). Right down the road is a really cool bell and stone carvings that are lit up at night. My actual room was the smallest... More

We stayed here on a trip to Mount Emei and although the company we booked through suggested this was 5 star - I couldn't get close to 3 star in my review. Apart from the predictable hard bed, the rooms were pretty dirty, breakfast was poor and we were charged an extra 350RMB to use the pool with our kids.... More
