My wife and I stayed at La Caletta for the past week. The b&b is clean, well located and has a great host who is extremely helpful when anything comes up you might need. He organised taxis for us, took us out on his boat and gave us tips for the local area on where the best beaches and restaurants were. In addition, his homemade cakes and jams were a great way to start the day. Santa Flavia itself is quiet- don't expect many bars or clubs. However, for a quiet trip away it is perfect. The beach is gorgeous and a short walk away from the b&b and there are enough restaurants in the area to keep you entertained on an evening (even though some of them only open over the weekend).

Super service! Very friendly! There is also the possibility to go on a boat excursion, very recommended. Several bays and must sees around Porticello are covered during the boat excursion. Also, there is time to relax and swim and snorkel arouns the boat.

...but was enough to feel welcomed! Mr Fabio was kind on the phone and in person. The house is close to the seaside.. you can hear the regular waves. Room was ok for a small b&b.. also the bathroom. He advised us to get on the roof terrace the next morning for the breakfast, and he and his wife were preparing a fab sweet breakfast with fresh home made cake and other delicius thing. The view from up there it leaves you speechless and more.. All this for a very reasonable price. Don't miss a walk down the sea bay for some lovely photos.

Fabio is a great host and very welcoming. Everyday we woke up to an amazing breakfast with delicious handmade cake as a starter! The location is perfect and nearby the water. The rooms are clean and big. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to visit Santa flavia.

We arrived at late evening. And owner waiting for us. We got full support. What and where are around, etc. late dinner. Acomondation not a new rooms, but all what you need you can get it. Sadanly, but bathrooms aren't in the rooms and need goes to corridor. morning comes you can forget it, breakfast which wait for you makes you day as good emotions. Thanks for that.

This bed and breakfast is by the sea with a great sea view from a roof terrace and a quaint harbour. Little difficult to find when you drive but very friendly locals will show or take you there. The owner cant do enough for you, great tips what to see in Sicily, where to eat, was even willing to be contacted if we needed any help while exploring the island. Secure but small parking by the bed and breakfast, freshly made omelette, fresh bread and pineapple juice, a selection of jams and croissant, you can choose what time you have breakfast too. Private bathroom- a separate key to it, slightly weak WIFI but not a problem, a fridge in the kitchen, maps given. If you are not confident enough to drive to Palermo you can park your car at Bagheria train station for free and take a 10 minute train to Palermo at 5 euros return.

Excellent place for quite or romantic holidays:) We enjoyed each day of our stay at La Caletta. Located just 2 min from a nice sea bay and far from crowds of tourists in a small village we could feel the atmosphere of Sicily. Fabio, the owner, is very hospitable and helpful. He offered a boat excursion and that was amazing. We had breakfast at the rooftop with home made cakes. The view from the rooftop of the hotel is magnificent! Thank you, Fabio and Ivana. No worries:) Colin+Jana

This B+B is good value for money. The room was pleasantly furnished and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was across the hallway, which was no problem as it was for our private use and there was only one other couple staying on our floor. There was some noise from the street below. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace which had wonderful views. Breakfast was a bit meagre and the landlord seemed a bit indifferent. Parking was no problem in October. Good location for visiting Palermo by train.
