This resort hotel was chosen by the bride and groom for a destination wedding over Memorial Day Weekend - So we received a special rate since the wedding guests had about 60 rooms. For our special price - I'd say this resort was 'very good'. Would I say the same if the price was $100 more per night? Probably not. $50 more? Possibly. The location is spectacular - so spend a bit more and get a Junior suite with a sea view. The Junior suite is a nice size - plenty of room - and a modern bathroom. The living room is furnished with Ikea type furnishings. However, it's clean and perfectly OK. Opening up the French windows and letting in the gentle warm breeze while gazing at the view is soul soothing. The breakfast buffet included in price is very good. Plenty of selections. However, they really should have bananas. My friend was not well one morning and I was told I was not allowed to bring up to the room a bowl of cereal in the restaurant's bowl. They offered me two small plastic cups to bring the cereal to the room. Very annoying. How can a resort not have the proper plastic containers to accommodate a guest who can't make it down to breakfast? The dinner buffet for 30 euros is 'just ok'. I preferred the restaurant near the pool for dinner - the pizzas were very good as was the mozzarella and prosciutto starter. Over the weekend, I believe this wasSaturday night, there was a band playing until midnight. It was loud. So if you can't stay up that late - then perhaps choose a room on the other side of the hotel. (But, really, go for a sea view room in spite of the band!) There are often long lines at reception. I'm not sure what the problem is. It's a large resort - so maybe they are understaffed at the front desk? If I were running this hotel - I'd have 4 agents at reception to handle the volume. Would I fly from the United States to Sicily just for a week at this resort? No. But if I lived in Europe - I'd consider a repeat visit. …

Dear Mr. Scott, thank you for your review and your kind words towards the hotel and the organisation. I am happy that you appreciated the comfort of our junior suites and the cleanliness of the rooms. I am sorry for the waiting time at the reception desk due to the fact that the hotel is full but having informed me your wait is due to the fact that in addition to your group we have between 150 and 200 people who have to pay their bill/wait to check in. We have 7 people working at reception and we always try to speed things up, but Italian bureaucracy is complicated and there are at least 4 documents for a normal customer to sign. I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do about it. Anyway, I hope to see you again one day because the friendliness and kindness of your team was exceptional for such an important party. This hotel is beautiful we got there and it rained for 4/5 days. But it was all sunshine, laughs and precious moments as the hotel tour guide took us out everyday to magical spots. Highly recommend!!

We really liked our stay and we will come back! The employees were very friendly, but especially the ones from the "entertainment" group: We always liked to talk with Daniel, he is very friendly, pleasant and funny, he also informed us about cool events in the hotel!! The beach is wonderful! There are enough lounge chairs, to lay down right next to the water. I recommend to go diving, there is a lot to see ( just by yourself with swimming goggles is really fun) We didn't like the breakfast so much. But the food in the hotel-restaurant is very good and not to expensive. There is also a very good restaurant right next to the hotel (1 min-walk) : Ristorante All' Ancora: It was our favorite place to eat dinner (good prices and a big selection of meals to pick from). Most of the employees in the hotel-restaurant barely speak english, which was difficult at times, thats another reason we linkes the All' Ancorna so much, where all the waiters speak english.…

Ordinary pool on Level 0, lower down salt water pool, plus steps down to rocky sea for swimming in the sea The Hotel D Club members have access to certain areas exclusively. Shame it doesn't have its own sandy beach, but the location is one of the best in the area. The green area where the Villas are is so peaceful and kept very tidy. Staff are pleasant and very efficient with service and the quality of food at the Pool bar and Porticello restaurant are always fresh and tasty! My reason of the 4 points is that I was surprised when I asked for 2 fried eggs at La Zagara restaurant for breakfast, the waiter told me they're chargeable! I've never known this to be applied anywhere else that I have been before throughout Italy or elsewhere in the world. So decided to have my own choice breakfast at the Pool bar for the rest of the staying. Could do with renew the pool furniture! Overall beautiful place and service!

We stayed at the hotel for the first time for a week at the beginning of September 2022. We chose this hotel because we wanted to be close to the small cozy town of San Flavia and with the ability to quickly get to Palermo by local train. Therefore, the location for us was excellent. On the territory of the hotel, recreation areas and swimming pools are planned perfectly, located at different levels. To have the lower pool with the sea water was just incredible. For those who love sandy beaches, there is a beautiful beach 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Food at the hotel, the quality of service is beyond praise. The Evening dinner (buffet) with a bottle of good white wine for the table of two for 30 euros per person was very plentiful and varied. We would like to return to this hotel for sure.…

Compared to my last trip and other places I have been in general, there were quite a few shortcomings. However, it was the first trip in Europe and a slightly different standard concept. There was no beach or just water which was essential in 45 ° heat. But all this sumasumarum was not important because the people we met during the trip, both Poles and animators, made it a wonderful two weeks. you can confidently say that if it weren't for the team, this place would be really average. I recommend everyone to go to discos and talk to, for example, animators. They are great and everyone in the band has a role. I had the best contact with giuseppe and David. Without them, this vacation would not make sense. Many thanks to the hotel staff for all these dances and the best memories, hahahah PERONI the best. We are not saying goodbye!…

I read a lot of negative comments before booking, about the service, the buffet, the separate D Club section etc but for us and our two kids ( 2.5 and 8 ) it was a wonderful stay! Our room was overlooking the sea and the swimming pools and we had a little terrace as well. They could have placed a second double bed instead of a sofabed with a better matras but we slept just fine. There is entertainment almost every night till midnight so bring earplugs if you want to go to bed earlier like we did with our kids. We attended two shows and they were great. Very helpful and friendly staff at the pool bar and the buffet restaurant. Wide variety of cold and warm meals with pastabar and every night a different kind of fresh fish, meat or chicken and lots of marinated veggies, fruits and desserts. And yes, the scrambled eggs probably were the instant kind, but more than enough to choose from, so that didn't trouble us that much. We had lunch once in the a la carte restaurant, delicious pizza, a must try and very kidsfriendly service. A special thanks to Laura, Nicole and Paolo from the animation team. There's a kids Club in the morning and afternoon and our oldest one loved it. You can book a taxi at the hotel but taxi's are quite expensive on the island so renting a car is probably a good idea if you want to do trips in the neighbourhood. Walking is always an option but with the temperatures not one for us and our two kids. The view from the hotel is fantastic. The hotel is not cheap but with two meals a day, location, animation for the kids, entertainment each evening, it was very worth it for us! So a big thanks for the entire staff.
