This hotel room is comfort and they have nice swimming pool. They also had a good staff and very helpfull to carry our complain about water in the bathroom. Only menu for breakfast and the taste of the meals is not recomended.

Rooms were reasonably spacious but electricity was unreliable. Hot water is only available at certain specified times unless otherwise requested. In great need of basic refurbishment - eg a repaint and covering up chipped areas. Food was very good - both breakfast and dinner but ridiculously expensive for this part of the world. Alas, there is little choice of accommodation... More

After a hot day in Pangkalan Bun this place is quite a relieve, I didn't spent to much time in the hotel but overall it is ok, a little to expensive, the service was good, the staff was super friendly, although the cleanliness should be improved

My partner and I stayed for one night while in transit from Tanjung Puting. The pool was nice, although not great pool side service. Our lunch tray stayed on the ground well into the evening. What you get is good but pretty basic for this type of hotel, so I think the price was a little too high but I... More

avoid this place, poor service, poor everything! they privilege the local community and just ignore foreigners, you get nasi goreng for breakfast but try to have toasts...no Maam, not available! Rooms are ok, pool is suspicious: one lady got blue hair after a swim! Price is reasonable.

I stayed at kecubung before and after my tour to tanjung puting. The hotel is about 20 mins from the airport the standard taxi fee being 90000 rph. I arrived early at the hotel but they gave me my room anyway, check in was quick and painless and they take card payments. The rooms are large mine had a bathtub... More

A great place to stay with all the staff being very friendly and accomodating. They were quick to respond to all our requests and upgraded one of our rooms as there was some outside noise. The restaurant served very fresh Indonesian food and I had one of the best gado gado's I have tasted. There is a good pool for... More

Look it's not super great but it's certainly not terrible. Probably not worth the price but your options are severely limited in Pangkalan Bun. Good bed, decent sized rooms, barely hot water though. Middle of the road place that's probably about $20 a night too expensive

We stayed two night at this hotel -- from afar and from photos, it appears rather sleek, modern, and new. Up close, there are lots of chips and dents, poor construction, inexplicable design choices (the door mechanism scratches the wall every time it's opened or closed), and mediocre facilities. Although we requested a non-smoking room, on both occasions, the staff... More

My husband and I have always stayed here, starting many years ago when PangkalanBun was a much smaller town and this hotel was still called The Blue Kechubung- - before its remodel, which we find impressive for Kalimantan. The air conditioning works in the rooms! The bathrooms are modern. We find the beds very comfortable. Europeans and Americans who are... More
