This place is fine. It's a convenient spot. The rooms are clean and pleasant. The breakfast buffet is quite nice too. Also, there are games - crazy golf, snooker, ping pong. It wasn't really our scene. Too resort-like for us - there were coach loads of guests arriving on package tours. A bit reminiscent of the holiday camp in Dirty...

Along the picturesque Piekenierskloof mountain pass in the Swartland area, some 150km from Cape Town, you will find the beautifully positioned resort. We went for lunch on a Sunday on a very hot day, hoping for a meal that matches the 4 star grading of the hotel. The first disappointment was a buffet (a pet hate of mine) that was...

The most amazing gem hidden along the N7. Great for family getaways especially if you have kids. Facilities are excellent and the room was really nice. Good value for money. Food at the restaurant was affordable. Will definitely try out the chalets next.

After so many dissapointing dinners at seemingly gourmet restaurants, I was surprised by an excellent vegetarian platter at Piekenierskloof. Thanks to Doempie the cook, I was spoiled for choice and it tasted amazing as well! I was blown away her creativity and passion for her work. All you vegetarians out there, this is the place to eat!

Very nice tranquil, peaceful resort especially if you want to have a relaxing time, and you are in the end chalets away from the main hotel and pools. Plenty of entertainment to chose from - zipline, mini putt putt, trget/pistol shooting, indoor/outdoor pools, hiking & mountain bike trails Close enough to the town of Citrusdal if you have forgotten anything...

Visited this fabulous venue twice in the past month with tour group from the UK. A beautiful mountain retreat situated up and along the Piekenierskloof Pass in the Cape Fold Mountains. Fantastic, professional staff and excellent service!

Took a ride up to Citrusdal to see the flowers and spent the night in a chalet at the resort. Very comfortable. Excellent staff. Food ok. I'd go back. The view from the lodge over the valley is lekker!

Myself and company was in need of a peaceful weekend and that's exactly what we got from our stay at this lovely calming resort. Walking barefoot on the grass, meditating, looking out over the beautiful mountains and just simply being relaxed and disturbed was bliss. Will most definitely return.
