The hotel was beautifully decorated with large, modern bathrooms. The location was also convenient to the valparetto and other islands such as Burano and Venice. Cesare was so friendly and helpful; plus he makes a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful breakfast room each morning. He also introduced us to his son's restaurant which we would also recommend. The food was...

For those who have been to Venice, and those who have not, but would like to stay outside the tourist crush of the main islands, Murano is a great choice, and so is the Murano Palace hotel. This family run three-star (operated by the very friendly and helpful owner, Cesare Giordani) has nice, large and very clean rooms. Not far...

We were very happy with our choice of Murano Palace in our trip to Venice. It took only few min by water bus to get to the island and when we get there we were greeted by Cesare like we were a family. He has a nice restaurant with good food near by, beautiful glass shops and a small plant...

I recently returned from a wonderful, weeklong stay at the Murano Palace. Perfectly situated, and literally just a short, three or four minute walk from the Murano Colonna stop, a stay on Murano affords you all the beauty that is Venice without having to contend with the hustle and bustle of staying in a hotel off San Marco or the...

We would really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice. Don't be put off by the fact that it is on a separate island - it is easy to reach by vaporetto as if you were taking a bus. It gives you the real Venice experience, especially with the help of Cesare!

Murano Palace is a great location to retire to at the end of a hard days siteseeing in and around Venice. After the day tourists leave Murano you are left with the place to yourselves and the locals. It is very peaceful and our room overlooking the canal was wonderful. Cesare was very hospitable, informative and caring.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
What are the benefits of staying in Murano? And why Murano and Hotel Murano Palace attracts more than Venice? - The island of Murano has a strategic location at the center of the lagoon that allows, compared to Venice, connections faster and easier. In fact, from Venice "Marco Polo" you can use the direct waterbus "Alilaguna Blue" and in 25 minutes arrive to Murano (1 ° stop "Murano Colonna") and in only 3 minutes walk to the hotel. - From Santa Lucia train station and from Piazzale Rome depart ACTV waterbus Line 3 (Direct Murano) - 1 ° stop "Murano Colonna." - The connection to Venice is guaranteed all day and night. - Practical and convenient for guests arriving by water taxi as the hotel overlooking the canal. - Convenient, since only a few meters away is the ferry to the islands of Burano and Torcello. - Few people know that every 10 minutes there is a boat that in just 8 minutes reach Venice. - Murano is also greatly appreciated by our guests as far away from the chaos of the city of Venice, enjoy a quiet and relaxing. - Murano Palace offers charming rooms furnished with fine fabrics in '700 Venetian style and is located in a prestigious location in the heart of the island which faces one of its main channels - the Rio dei Vetrai where are the major stores and more prestigious names in the glass like Murano Barovier and Toso, Venini, Berengo Studio, Lino Tagliapietra, Pino Signoretto, Dino Rosin. ... more   less
