Stunning drive up the pass with breathtaking views, accommodation was comfortable, we stayed in a family unit, fireplace in the bedroom and complimentary hot water bottles were a treat. Dinner & breakfast were delicious and great choice available. Staff were friendly and we had the added bonus of snow! Recommend waking up early to watch the sun rise with coffee...

Great 4x4 only ride up the pass. Area is desolate but the highest pub in Africa is a blast. Descent camping. Good internet. Yummy dinner. Highly recommend spending the night here are your way into Lesotho.

Dear Guest I sincerely apologize for the your experience. What you received was not the norm as we do not like to rush any experience. Our dinner in winter is served from 6.30pm but that is a guideline and by know means should you be forced upon you. Our bar does generally close at 10pm daily and the feeling that...

We ate the set menu for dinner at the Mountian Lodge. Food was flavorsome and there was a lot of it. Dinner costs R240, consisting of three courses. A Maluti beer cost R40 for a medium one. Bar area is warm with a lovely fire and there is a variety of alchoholic items to choose from. The backpackers lodge cost...

After travelling up the amazing Sani pass this was an amazing place to stay. Lovely little traditional lodges, fires topped up by staff during evening, food was lovely and a mix of traditional and western. Staff lovely and helpful, worth paying a bit more than other places at the pass forthe overall experience. The journey on through Lesotho is as...

We spent the night at Sani Lodge and definitely got more than we bargained for. Exceptionally friendly staff assisted in sorting out a problem at the border. We were made to feel relaxed and comfortable the second we arrived. Staff are always smiling and we found the service to be very quick and efficient. The fire in our room was...

Although we booked well in advance, the only rooms available were in the backpackers section, as a large 4x4 tour group were paling through. We went for the full board option, which was exceptionally reasonable. The buffet dinner and breakfast were extensive, tasty and of a high quality. Morning eggs made perfectly to order is a great way to start...

We stopped for lunch at the pub as part of the Sani Pass tours day trip. The service was very efficient and we all enjoyed the Basotho lamb stew. This was delicious and the portion size was very generous. We also enjoyed some gluhwein and nice coffee. The prices were reasonable. Very spectacular views when the weather is good. Curio...

Sani Mountain Lodge was our absolute saviour! We had planned to drive from Sehlabathebe National Park to Sani Pass and back into South Africa but terrible roads meant our trip was much longer than expected and we didn't make it to the border post in time. We arrived at Sani Mountain Lodge at around 8pm and although there were no...
