My husband and I have spent the last 10 days on this newly opened impressive island. It is beautiful, sand like golden caster sugar and a relaxed vibe everywhere you go.
The staff and their standard of service across the island is impeccable. The smiles from them as you are greeted at mealtimes or passing them on their scooter or buggy whilst walking and given freely and genuinely.
The trips we went on range from fantastic once in a lifetime opportunities to discover the ocean and swim with some incredible sea life on a 3 point snorkelling to mediocre and falling short on the local island tour. What needs to improve on this tour particularly is the time spent on the island being more immersive, not just being shown things on route to the tour guide’s souvenir shop. I would like to see a chance to try some local food and drink or get involved in the cooking of local food.
The rooms (over the water villa with private pool and stairs to sea) was cleaned twice a day by Irawan. Always beautifully presented on our return after breakfast and dinner.
The food at the buffet was a fantastic blend of hot and cold, healthy and delicious, world and local cuisine prepared by chefs with passion for what they do. The restaurant staff were beyond attentive and were always there to pull out your chair, carry your plate to the table and top up your glass. Laal, Brij, Samera, Regi and Rautey, Maax and Mahill really stand out for their professionalism and desire to make your experience personal.
The location of the choice of 2 pools and bars, dive centre and spa are all perfectly placed. The best snorkelling experience is off the reef at the main dive centre across 2 bridges to the main island about a 40 minute walk or you can get a buggy.
Your host is yours for the duration and contactable by WhatsApp but don’t expect a response immediately as they look after many customers at a time.
Tui can and should improve your holiday by explaining the all inclusive deal more transparently at the time of you booking as it is confusing and can disappoint on arrival. For example: there are many restaurants around Romance, Dream and Olhuveli Sun Siyam islands that are not included on all inclusive. Some you get a 40% discount but some don’t like Teppanyaki even though it is on Romance island.
Overall an amazing holiday island, would definitely return.

We spent a wonderful 8 nights at this Tui resort on this beautiful island. We had a beach villa which was amazing! Having our own bit of beach, a little back garden with palm trees, comfy sun loungers and our own pool was just like heaven! To get to the Tui island you travel to the Sun Siam Olhuveli island by speedboat (where the main dock and dive centre are) and then are taken by an electric buggy across the bridge to the Dream Island and then across another bridge to the Tui Romance. Although staying at Tui Romance, we went across to the other two islands a few times but in my opinion, the Tui Romance is that little bit more special so if you are travelling without children, I recommend the Tui Romance island. They are all lovely but the Tui island is just gorgeous!!! If you explore the other 2 islands, your all inclusive isn’t valid on those islands so bare that in mind when you are exploring and take drinks with your from your room fridge. Our island host was Honey and she was wonderful! So helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Honey!! You are amazing!! All of the staff work so hard, all of the staff are smiley and friendly and a real credit to the Tui brand and team. We were so impressed!! The pool areas were never too busy, no need to reserve a spot, always space available and the staff there did a great job of taking care of guests and keeping the pool area spick and span. We enjoyed a great variety of delicious non-alcoholic drinks both at the pool and in the restaurant. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! We felt truly spoilt. It was lovely to see the chefs around whilst we ate dinner so we could tell them how much we were enjoying the fruits of their labour. We paid for the sunset dolphin cruise and we saw loads of dolphins which was joyful. We loved our stay on this island, it felt like heaven. Before we went, I had kept looking at the weather forecast for the Maldives and it showed lots of cloud, rain and thunderstorms. I was worried that visiting during the off peak season would mean it might not be very sunny. We were pleasantly surprised that despite the forecast, clouds blew over and rain was mostly at night. The weather was much better than we expected. We had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an adult only break in paradise!!

We can honestly say this was paradise. The service was excellent! It was absolutely spotless, the staff were constantly cleaning and always making sure we had everything we needed. They went the extra mile on every level and made this a very special experience. A special mention to Sharey who was our host. He was so friendly and always there to answer any questions. The villa we stayed in was located right on the beach in an ideal spot. This was spacious and kept lovely and clean by our maid, Pema. Who again couldn't do enough for us. The food in the restaurants was excellent with plenty of choice. We were all inclusive and there were a couple of restaurants which weren't included but you got 40% discount. One of these was the Magrib. I would recommend this restaurant,we went twice, the seafood was delicious and we were looked after both times by Hassan.We would definitely go back. 7 nights was not long enough

We booked this holiday after a,long time saving hard as we needed a very special holiday.
We arrived on time in Male where we waited a short time before a 45 min boat trip. We were greeted with the traditional drums which was nice and buggy to reception were check in was seemless. We received a cool drink a cool flannel which was welcoming following a tiring trip. We we shown to our very stunning over the water villa which was clean cool and exceptionally roomy. the pool was cool and bathroom was immuculate. The bed and bedding we top class and we were initially happy.
Our mini bar had various sodas and 2 small cans of beer. The lack of other alcoholic beverages we hoped to amend.
We went for lunch which was in a smallish part outside building which was ok but in no way five star. On reading further this was our only sole option for our 2 week stay. All inclusive does in no way meet the ALL inclusive title. The trip included one al la carte visits to the Cullinarium, which was mostly fish.
Following day we had breakfast in our only option ‘the restaurant’. We asked for a Buck’s Fizz, which was declined. Any arrivals after 10am do not have access to any cooked products even eggs!
After contacting our go to Thaisan he informed us that we were only entitled to 2 small beers per day in the mini bar and that drinks served in the bar were forbidden to be taken to our room :( .
Next day we spoke to our representative who indeed, confirmed this was our entitlement. She confirmed that if we were A German guessed we could have booked all inclusive premium where we would have access to further restaurants and 3 bottles of in room wine in our mini bar. If we wished to upgrade it would cost 89 dollars per person per day! We were angry and saddened. In principle we had paid just short of 14000K for a 3 star buffet and no sit down menu options. The following day consisted of cold hot dogs in the buffet cold pork chops the following day and as the days went on Luke warm water with our meals. The bite restaurant was good but not included also!.
If you wanted a meal or drink delivery to your room the cheapest bottle of wine was 60 dollars! Meals were similarly extremely costly.
I feel I want to end on a positive note, and give a big shout out to the staff at this hotel including, moosa keeping the bar spotless, little Baku for excellent cocktails and also Chimandu and especially Nina who is very professional primarily due to her hospitality studies, she should run the place. Oh and speedy Regi in the restaurant is excellent.
Sadly we won’t return there are much better places considering value and candour to be had.

Having worked over 30 years in the hospitality industry, 18 years with the Savoy Group, I can honestly say that what my wife and I experienced during our 2 week stay was absolutely exceptional. Where do I start? Upon arrival we were checked in by the General Manager, Peter Raes, who opened the hotel in 2022. I believe that due to his amazing qualities the resort is what it is today. A paradise. Peter left his position during our stay, not before I had a few beers with him at the bar. I could see his job was done and he can walk away with his head held high. The staff have been trained perfectly, everyone is smiling and more than willing to help. Special mentions must go to chambermaid Devi, who kept the beautifully appointed villa spotless for 2 weeks, servicing it without fail twice a day. Kumar at the bar, who remembered everything and just kept giving good service after good service. Head Chef Mueen, what an incredible asset he is. He even made a prawn curry especially for my wife and then gave her the recipe upon request!! Rani in the Spa, who gave me the best treatment I've had for many years. So good, I made a second appointment immediately. Fallo, Sam and Laal in the restaurant, who had the ability to make every meal a special event for all the right reasons. The only issue was a blocked toilet. I reported this to the Concierge and the problem was solved in less than 15 minutes. Excellent you would say, but this was at 11.00 o'clock at night! That is, in my opinion, outstanding service. The adults only resort has 100 rooms (villas) and even when full I cannot see anything but peace and quiet on top of the list. The food in the restaurant is wonderful. I defy anyone not to find something they like. The water sport and diving facilities are first class and the views/sunsets over the Indian Ocean are idyllic. In fact the overall standard of this resort is of the highest caliber I can remember. Yes, this ticks every single box. The staff should all be very proud of themselves. Your stress free vacation starts from the moment you arrive at the airport in Malé. The welcome staff is there to guide you to the speed boat which is comfortable, fast and has wifi.
The warm welcome at the pier upon arrival at the resort is the same welcome you will receive everyday throughout the day wherever you are at the resort.
Our host Zain was there to welcome us to the resort and gave us a tour of the island. He was always available for all of our early morning dive pickups and booking confirmations. He was also a great source of resort information.
Our beach villa with pool was spacious, well laid out and clean. Pema from housekeeping made sure that our towels were fresh, bed perfectly made and the floor was always sparkling.
The Restaurant buffet was full of delicious local and western food. The food was fresh and well prepared. It was a treat to eat there. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Priscilla, Jumaa, Shammaa and Rejig, were so warm and welcoming. It was great chatting with them. I miss the lemon iced tea. It was perfect for cooling off during lunch.
The Romance Bar is the place to be for beautiful sunsets, amazing cocktails and live entertainment. We enjoyed sipping lemongrass mojito's and the far east cocktails while listening to the live saxophone music and watching the sun set on a perfect day.
Diving at the SSI dive center was a pleasure. It was clean, well organised and our gear was well taken care of. A big thank you to Masha, Etoo, Son and the rest of the team for an unforgettable birthday dive!
I recommend you download the BLUE App - from TUI Blue. The app shows you info about the resort, menus and daily events. You can also book a cooking class at The Bite Beach.
The cooking class was a real treat. Chef Uttam presented a wonderful cooking demonstration of Maldivian cuisine and it was delicious. I even learnt that they don't use curry powder in their cuisine, it's a freshly made paste with added pandan leaves. Yum!
The ambiance, cleanses and peaceful surroundings really help you to unwind, relax and simply enjoy what the Maldives and resort have to offer. We will definitely return.

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at the TUI Blue Romance in the Maldives and was thoroughly impressed the resort, the location, amenities, and staff.
Shyam and Uttam were especially accommodating in providing a variety of vegan options for our meals, including the tasty desserts, and Maya was very attentive and kept our room in excellent condition at the over water hut 937. The staff at The main buffet Restaurant, The Romance bar and The Bar, including JUMA Priscilla Shamma, Brij Sultana and Accalla, provided fantastic service throughout our stay. Natalia, your team is wonderful and we both look forward to visiting this resort again in the future. We highly recommend this resort to couples seeking a relaxing and enjoyable experience, you will be well looked after.
My only recommendation is the music in the evenings could be better to cater for all types of guests. Additionally some chamomile tea bags in the room would be perfect.

Arrived at the island by speedboat and was greeted by drums and flowers and a lovely helpful lady from TUI was there to meet us and guide us to reception to check in which was quick and friendly then after a short tour of the facility’s was shown to our room we had an overwater villa which is gorgeous and well appointed. Everywhere you go around the island is beautiful and maintained to a very high standard and all the staff make you feel welcome and are a real credit to the place. The food is of a high standard with a choice between the buffet restaurant or the culinarium al la cart both are included in the all inclusive package also included is afternoon tea in the coffee shop and a large selection of cocktails served at the two bars by wonderful staff who make you feel welcome non more so than Predeep he is a real asset to the place They have various evening entertainment but buy far the absolute best is the group called high tides they are very talented I can’t praise them enough and I hope TUI appreciate how lucky they are to have them it’s always a great night when they are playing We have been here for a week and are lucky enough to have another week here I’m already looking at booking to return next year If you’re considering this resort for a holiday in perfect paradise just book it you will be so glad you did

Two amazing weeks at the olhuveli romance. The staff…..amazing, shamme, pricilla, juma, vitaliti, regi to name a few in the restaurant who looked after us, harsha and sultana in the romance bar who gave us info on where to go and see the mantarays on the jetty which we could quite easily have not known about and was truely amazing. Kevin, our go to man who booked everything for us. The hotel was immaculate everywhere, continuously sweeping the beautiful road ways and beaches, basically I don’t think I have ever seen so much attention to detail in every aspect of a hotel before. The beaches were stunning. We booked for our 2 weeks in a beach bungalow (406) it was beautiful and to wake up to that view in the morning was very special. We were on the side of the island that didn’t get the breeze so found it extremely hot. I would recommend beach villas from 434 upwards if booking again as they get a constant breeze most days. We decide to try and upgrade to a water bungalow and wow! We are so pleased we did, absolutely stunning inside and felt slightly cooler with yet again beautiful views and straight into the crystal clear waters. Maya looked after us and wanted to clean our room twice a day but we only needed the morning visit which was plenty. We saw many sharks and eagle rays and so many beautiful fish swimming underneath us which we found fascinating. The food in the restaurant was very varied, ‘So ‘ cooked our amazing noodles every day and Aly my pasta. It would have been very difficult not to find something to eat with so much salad and fresh fruits etc. We ate in the culinarium 3 nights all free of charge which again was lovely but quite fish related which suited us. We also went to the main island to the syam orchid (Thai) one evening for another wonderful meal. Which had a 40% discount on food and your usual all inclusive drinks. We found that Romance island had a completely different feel to the other 2 islands, so much more serene and beautiful and obviously being adults only was great for us. The little bus service was great and ran about every 10 minutes to the main island. The snorkelling off the main dive centre was incredible and to see the mantarays and turtles at night made it all so special. We asked a few nights by hotel staff how everything was and we could not fault anything apart from the very uncomfortable sun beds around the pools, a chair pad would have made all the difference, that is our only moan. A beautiful holiday made so special by beautiful staff and surroundings.

We have just returned from two weeks at Olhuvelli Romance island. This resort is fabulous, only opened late last year so everything is brand new, spotlessly clean with a real tropical feel. We stayed in a beach villa, very comfortable and totally private, the staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. The island is quite small, surrounded by beach and crystal clear shallow lagoons, you can visit the main island of Olhuvelli any time via regular shuttle buses. The food is good, I have had better at another island but we didn’t go hungry. We will return to Romance island and I can’t wait.

Hello! We just came back from this place exactly a week ago. Yes it's an expensive country in general.Drinks can cost from 20 to 40 US, it depends what you are drinking of course. Water is usually free in al restaurants.

the villas on the opposite site have part of the sunset but for spectacular view of sunset go to the romance bar
The overwater vilal's are beautifull no matter what; you 'll see sharks, turtles, fishes even from your pool! please let me know if you need any more information
