This is our third visit to Oldervik and we love to keep coming back as we are never disappointed. The Little Red House is very cosy and it is hard to beat the view from the living room. It would be very easy to stay in all day next to the fire in such a relaxing setting .. but then... More

This was probably one of my favourite holidays ever. Put quite simply, Solli is a perfect cottage on the banks of a fiord. Wood burning stove and logs included. It is 45 mins from Tromso (hard to get lost as there is one road) and you have access to everything around you. A wonderful week. Car rental is easy (we... More

Stayed at the Little Red House and had the best holiday we have ever had. Lovely remote location, no TV, cosy log burning stove, fabulous views, comfy bed... We had a week of reading, watching the storms blowing across the fjord, talking, laughing, going for walks, taking lots of pictures, feeding the little vole that lives at under house...The ultimate... Be very careful booking with these people. We booked one of their other houses and 5 days later, after we had booked our flights, we were told they had double booked and we could not have the house after all. They knew our flights were not exchangeable, but did not give us any help at all in finding somewhere else.

A last minute decision and someone else's cancellation gave us a holiday to remember. Solli is perfect if you want quiet relaxation, in cosy surroundings...with all you need..while you take in the fantastic views. We were so lucky to see the Northern Lights every night, but even if we hadn't , Solli would have been enough. Sarah, was so friendly,... More

Me and my partner stayed at Elva river house and it was absolutely wonderful, the place has everything you need, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, electric heaters in every room and a wood-burning stove that heats the whole house, maps, books, board games and cozy furniture in each room. The place will easily fit couples, families and groups of friends.... More

Lovely for a couple but would be snug for a family of four and any more than that you'd probably be at each others throats after a day. Located an hours drive from Tromso (it was snowy so we took it easy) and located at the edge of a village this is a wonderful place to stay. Isolated, generously equipped... More

A great place to stay. Really warm house with wood fire and electric heating. Great sea view. Kitchen was well equipped. Location is not very good if you like to have round trips, because you have to make a 37km (40 minutes) to Tromso every time you want to go somewhere. The only downside is that the floor heating in... More
