Well kept with a good decent sized pool , air conditioning was good. Casilda does not have a lot to offer but the friendly staff (we came by Viazul coach to Trinidad) were helpful ,daily, to arrange good cheap transport to Trinidad and nearby beaches. Evening meals were very good indeed and there was a good atmosphere in the small...

Casa Jorg / Hostal Las Palmas, Casilda / Trinidad My wife and I stayed at the above for four nights during early June 2015 and I thought it would be useful to review this Casa as we believe it deserves a good review and because we didn’t really know what to expect when we arrived. Casa Jorg is in the...

What a great moment to jump into the pool! We did like the place because of Jörg who is the such a freindly and welcoming host, because of Jesus who is the Master of Mojito at the pool bar and who loves Music, becaus of the lovely ladies team at breakfast and dinner: ask for the lobster! We had to...

We stayed here with family. We found atmosphere, owner and the food great. Place has little pool with bar with best drinks we ever had. So you can relax and cool down after sight seeing. Food is amazing well served and there is big choice. The only downside is location. It is a bit on a side. But if you...

This casa is located a little out of the way so unless you have a car, you will be needing a taxi going into Trinidad or to the beach. Unfortunately, even though we had a reservation, there was no room for us so he sent us next door. The room was disappointing. We were offered a room at Las Palmas...

One of those few times on which the comments of the tripadvisor people do not match my views on how something should be, difference of opinion of course. The car had to be parked outside. There was a camera, but I doubt they had someone watching all day. We found the receipt and our stay poor and did not feel...

We loved Casa Las Palmas, and even extended our stay. It’s a few KM down the road from Trinidad in Casilda, a small village that really feels like the real Cuba. It’s also close to Playa Ancon which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Cuba and it’s easy and cheap to get taxis to the beach or to...

Myself and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay at Casa Jorg, the breakfast in particular was wonder, fresh baked bread!! The rooms were really spacious and the bathrooms were very modern and clean. Overall a great place to stay and fantastic cocktails too!

This was the first Casa particular that we stayed in and it really set a high standard. Jorg was the perfect host, the food was absolutely amazing and the rooms were really cosy. On our last day, Jorg dropped us to the near by beach was which was empty and so beautiful. The Casa is located a little outside of...

We stayed at Las palmas for a few days. It is a 5-10 min taxi ride away from trinidad in a little village called Casilda. We were very glad that we stayed there rather then Trinidad itself. It was a lot more relaxing. Jorg organised a tour for us, originally we wanted to see el cubano mountain, but he strongly...
