We truly loved staying at this casa. My daughter and I were made very welcome by Barbara and Juan Carlos. We had a lovely room off a quaint courtyard Alfresco area. They have gone to great lengths to make their casa cosy, clean and comfortable to visitors. The meals Barbara cooked were fresh and delicious and her attention to detail was...

This was a lovely Casa. We were made welcome and shown a large clean room with en-suite bathroom. The breakfast was very generous and tasty. The staff were not the most effusive we found in Cuba but were adequate and helpful when required.

We stayed in this casa for 3 nights as a family. Trinidad is truly beautiful, as are the mountains behind it. This casa is well located in the city and the food was good (we had breakfast included each day and dinner here on the first night). The rooms had everything we need and the terrace above the property is...

We have been in Cuba for 2 weeks and stayed only in casas particulares but we loved this casa the most.. For us it's position was what we were looking for as it is exactly between the city Trinidad and the beach. The food Barbara cooks is more than delicious (wish we could try all of her specialties..) and Juan...

We got the warmest welcome, lovely room and also some great conversation when we stayed there. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner and more than we could eat. Private accomodation can't get better than that!

As part of a mission group, my husband and I were in Trinidad to help renovate a church property, so we were tired at the end of our days. Staying with Barbara and Juan Carlos was a treat for our tired bodies and a real lift for our spirits. Walking through the door to their beautiful courtyard brought peace! Rooms...

Dona Barbara´s Guesthouse is located near the docks of Casilda Bay, in a peaceful and relaxing place, only 4 km away from Trinidad (a World Heritage Site) and really close to white sandy beaches of Ancon peninsula (6km). We are proud to say that we (Barbara and Juan Carlos) are always available for our customers at any time of the day with personalized service. The house has its own private entrance for customers and parking spot, 3 standard rooms with private bathrooms with hot/cold water 24hrs a day. Our residence has a terrace suitable for sun bath; and dance lessons. Our home is an extraordinary place to relax after a busy day in Trinidad or a warm day at the beach. The owners of the Guesthouse: Juan Carlos, Sommelier and Maitre d’hotel with more than 20 years of experience, and Barbara, Hotel Receptionist Graduate are nice, kind and friendly people always willing to help you under any circumstance. We can arrange many activities for you, such as planned trips to the Sugar Mills Valley (a World Heritage Site), to the Beaches of Ancon peninsula, to Topes de Collantes (a nature reserve) and to the nearby Keys (Iguana Key, White Key). We can also arrange for Spanish lessons, horseback riding, catamaran riding, snorkeling at the coral reef, and guided tours through Trinidad’s main attractions, always doing such activities ourselves or relying on people of our utmost trust. ... more   less
