I found this B&B by accident upon searching for somewhere near Withernsea. What a little gem of a place. Food and drink great, prices were amazing, B&B price unbelievable, rooms were comfortable. I couldn't highly recommend this place high enough. Sue and Steve went above and beyond to welcome us after a 7 hour trip from Scotland. We arrived after...

We stayed for 6 nights and upon arrival were made to feel very welcome by Sue, Steve and Rosy. An excellent range of well kept and served beers, served with simple but plentiful food, and all at very reasonable prices. This is a bargain B&B.

The accommodation here is very neat and tidy, and Sue and Steve go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The food is amazing!! Delicious!! The pub has won award for its real ales, and many drinkers were in there testing different ones! Lovely beer garden - would be an absolute gem in summer!

This is a little gem for those who enjoy excellent, home cooked food. There are no pretensions of it being a restaurant in a pub; this is a pub serving traditional and enjoyable meals that are very good value. Sunday lunches start at 2pm and you need to book early (the food is cooked to order). Think along the lines...

We stayed 3 nights and had a good time here. This traditional old pub is comfortable and the service, from Sue and Steve is excellent. Good real ales on tap and good pub food (not cordon bleu) available. Highly recommended for outstanding value.

Cant comment on the accomodation as we didnt stay. Nice friendly pub with a small selection of well kept real ales. Tried a few and all were good. Only fault with the place is the danp mould on walls in window alcoves which gives off a terrible smell

I was down in East Yokshire to attend a leather cleaning and repair course so essentially it was a business trip. The Plough was recommended to me by the course trainer and it couldn,t have a better recommendation! The room was large and comfortable with a good ensuite. Great central heating, very important as it was February and very cold....
