Our group of fourteen, mainly ordained Anglican and Methodist priests, were delighted with our rental of four barns arriving Tuesday 15th November 2016 and departing on the morning of the 17th. All of the accommodation was beautifully warm awaiting our 2 p.m. arrival where we were immediately greeted by the proprietor and shown around the accommodation. Given the relatively small... More

I hired out 2 of the barns ( Kiln Towers and Wain House) for my Fiance's 40th Birthday Party. The Barns themselves have been beautifully converted whilst maintaining a rustic charm. We held the main party in Kiln Towers as it was the larger property out of the 2. I had spoken to David the owner previously when i booked... More

Stayed here recently as part of a large party. The barns are well converted and a good range of facilities however when fully occupied the lack of bathroom and toilet facilities is noticeable with queues forming. The rooms are not large and in some getting between the bed and the wardrope is a tight squeeze. Access is down very narrow... More

I booked Shetton Barns for a hen party for 26 people and were put in the Kiln Tower and the Coach House. The properties more than exceeded my expectations and they were fully equipped for a party. Absolutely beautiful setting and more than enough space both inside and outside. David was great throughout the whole booking process and was on... More

I had booked Kiln Towers for 12 women for a hen party from 15th - 17th July and had a fabulous time. Dave was great to deal with, very helpful and friendly. The accommodation was perfect for a group and really well stocked with nice cutlery and comfy furniture. Plenty of room for everyone and nicely laid out. The garden... More

Booked 2 Barns for my hen weekend. Dave was brilliant at providing me with information and advice as to which barns to book. The barns were really clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Great weekend had by all and would definitely recommend.

Have just spent the weekend at Shetton barns with friends to celebrate a 40th wedding anniversary. There were eleven adults and four children. Never felt cramped at any time plenty for the kids to do including a climbing frame slides and swings. There were board games for evenings and wet days. Never been to a self catering place before that... More

Fantastic, booked 4 barns for my 40th, invited 9 other couples, friends and family, plenty of room for everyone to have their own room and space. A warm welcome, cosy buildings with fairly modern bathrooms and kitchens and loads of space and beds. Lovely views, you are very isolated but that is no bad thing. Overall this did exactly what... Sat nav did not locate barns and the sign posting was easy to miss, which we did first time. Very narrow road to barns with no passing places. However stunning location with lovely views. Ideal for family gatherings, large spacious rooms with well equipped kitchens. Large tables which meant meals could be taken together. Beds were comfortable and linen and... More
