Though I would try this place again but sadly very disappointing. Cold slimey steak. Yes I ordered medium rare but I didn't expect the fat to congial on the roof of my mouth. This is definately not a place that I would recommend. The socks definately need to be pulled up. I will not hurry back.

Very disappointing meal. The prawn cocktail looked like it had been done by a child. Rock hard chicken, it was replaced when sent back though. The staff are all very pleasant and attentive but the food problem needs to be addressed.

Went to a private function in a roped off area. Food was excellent and plentiful and I gather it was good value for money. Minor criticism - need to label the veggie food as not all obvious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Has a big car park.

The hotel was lovely, it's a great location - just a short drive to some lovely walks in the New Forest. The room and bathroom were modern and very clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast had a very extensive menu. The only downside was the size of the bed. We booked a double room but the...

Popped in for a Sunday Lunch. Not great start when you wait to be seated in what appears to be a half entry restaurant only to be told there was no room!? Therefore sat in a very smart and appealing lounge and ordered food and drinks. Advised of a potential 40 min wait for food when wasn't exactly packed. Had...

After the refurb, we decided to visit the St Leonard's for a meal. The overall look of the hotel, bar and restaurant looks great. The restaurant had a good ambience and we felt very comfortable. The food was very tasty and presented well. Unfortunately what spoiled things and let the restaurant down was the lack of attention to customers from...

This hotel has had a revamp since my last visit and it's now looking really lovely. Excellent value for a hotel in it's class. Bedrooms are modern with super-king beds, bathrooms have monsoon overhead shower fittings. A massive plus is that breakfast is served up until midday, there's a coffee station if you just want drinks, main menu is reasonable...

After our 12 mile dog walk in the New Forest we were feeling a bit peckish. Went in here as looking at the reviews it looked better than the places closer. We had thought about the chef over the road but as this was on the side we were on in we went. Got a drink, sat down, all ok...

Spotlessly clean newly refurbished room opening straight out on a lovely grasses area. Excellent meal of sweet potato and kale salad followed by chocolate torte ...all delicious and vegan. Extremely good value for money (accommodation and food) but best of all were the professional, polite and very helpful staff. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable.
