Booking in was a simple affair. Took a couple of minutes although we had pre booked. Nice size room with French doors onto grassed/park area. Big bathroom with shower over bath. Checked out the menu and decided to stay for dinner. (We were going into Ringwood for dinner but changed our minds having seen the menu. Quite extensive and mid...

All the staff are very friendly and helpful but I must make a special mention of Jane the receptionist who went the extra mile.On Friday evening there was entertainment a very good Frankie Valli tribute. Breakfasts were good and included a vegetarian option.Evening meals not quite as...

My wife and myself booked a special valentines meal at what we thought was a little bit more than normal. However this was a very disappointing experience. On arriving after booking no one could find as a table. Six tables placed to the back end of the restaurant, no table cloth, table not laid out and the table look like it...

Just enjoyed a pleasant 2 night stay with breakfast for £125. Think there was a special deal as it was out of season. The room was very good, comfortable bed and very spacious. A little dated but that did not matter, tv & complimentary drinks. The cold tap needed some attention in the bathroom sink as it seemed to be...

Came here for lunch with my mum and we were very impressed. The main courses were delicious and the desserts (the baked Alaska and the chocolate brownie flower pot) were to die for!! Friendly staff and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. Will definitely be coming here again soon

My family party of 10 came on Saturday lunchtime to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday. We had a table booked for 1pm. On arrival we were told they were stopping food at 2pm. The waitress had appalling customer service skills, we waited for ages for her take our order and then delivery was so late that we couldn't order dessert....

When we arrived the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help my husband find somewhere to watch the football, even drawing a map for him. Our room was very comfortable and, as I was not very well, and Amber went out of her way to help by cooking something for me personally. The only downside...

We have been coming here for several years for lunch or evening meal but this is the first time we've stayed. On occasions the service has not been good with either too few or new untrained staff trying to their best. This time everyone who dealt with us was polite & good at their job. Arrived after 7 & welcomed...

We planned to have a meal there with friends who we hadn't seen for a long time, so wanted it to be special. They had driven 5 hours to get there. The evening started out well, with the staff very attentive, but what a shame that it went down hill from there. The food was totally unacceptable. Three of us...
