No problem is too big, no problem too small - no problem is medium sized. In fact, no problem is in-between. All the staff here are great! With or without a refurb - I'll always go back! Food is good, if not a wee bit expensive in the Nico's bar. However, you get what you pay for, if something isn't...

Booked on a Secret escapes short break. Although building work going on at one of buildings, inconvenience to guests kept to a minimum. Good location, quiet room, lovely setting overlooking fields and Llangollen canal. Used facilities at their country club and ate at their on site Nico's restaurant. Food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble, either at breakfast or...

Odd experience staying here as a solo traveller. Firstly the cab took me to the Spa instead of the reception. An easy mistake to make because the signage is so poor. Checking in was easy enough and I was fine with my room until I tried to switch off the air -con which just springs into life throughout the night...

My boyfriend and I booked a one night stay with dinner in an executive canal room. The room itself was nice, clean enough, although the bathroom was tiny. On the day that we checked in we used the country club facilities, which are great. The steam room was out of order and when we were having a quick rinse off...

We stayed for one night on 14th February. It is a very nice hotel with a separate restaurant and health spa. The health spa has a superb swimming pool and a separate spa area. The treatments were excellent and a reasonable cost. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the service great. We will certainly being going back.

I booked this trip for my partners special birthday. On arrival the receptionist to the spa could not have looked less interested to be speaking with us and the hotel receptionist was even worse!! We arrived at 12.30pm to find that our room wasn't available until 3pm so we made our way to the spa for our booked treatment at...
