The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The host and hostess were very pleasant and knowledgeable about the island and offered good tips and ideas for tours and restaurants. There is a walking path just outside of the B&B. Breakfast was European style - ham, toast and jam, hard boiled eggs, skyr (similar to...

This b&b is just perfect!! Frances and Ian are so warm and inviting and offer not only a great breakfast but also treats, tea, and coffee in the evening with GREAT conversation:) The place is so clean and about 20 minutes from the city but so quiet which is what we were looking for. We would definitely recommend them to...

This B&B is fantastic and was perfect for us! Its a little outside of Reykjavik, so you will need a car, use a taxi, or the bus. We used the bus and it was very easy and inexpensive. Rides to and from the airport can be booked with the owners for a fee. Ian and Frances are phenomenal people and...

We stayed with Ian and Frances for a week in their lovely home. The views from the house are really good across the water to Reykjavik, and there is a path for walks alongside the sea wall just a few steps across from the house. We took full day tours with Ian on 4 days in his landrovers (there are...

We stayed a total of 3 nights with Frances and Ian. Ian picked us up at the airport (small fee but inexpensive for Reykjavik). The rooms are very comfortable, good internet, and the very best food. We had two dinners with Frances and both were delicious. Breakfast was hearty and held us for hours. Best of all was chatting with...

We were concerned because this is out of town...but between Ian's offer to drive us to town and bus 1 and 23, have no fear and stay here and enjoy the views, the hot tub, the breakfast (ham, skyr, fruit, cheese, hot home made bread, juice, home made jellies, cereals and more) and Ian and Frances's sense of humor and...

This review to Tripadvisor is late. Back when we stayed, our booking/reviews were through another site. We were among the first guests Ian and Francis took several years ago. Our family of four took an overnight in Iceland on our way to France and stayed at this inn. Francis graciously took us around the area, and our meal with she...

We cannot rate this amazing couple any higher. We have spent a week with them during which they pulled out all the stops to make our dream of a wedding in Iceland a reality. Before we arrived they helped us with plans and arrangements, found and confirmed all the contacts we required and created our perfect weeks itinerary. On our...

We had our first night stay in Iceland of a five night holiday and received a warm and friendly welcome from Frances and later met Ian who we found out takes tours and as such was very knowledgeable and helpful about the region. Their lovely house is right next to the coast and affords great views over the bay towards...

my husband and I stayed with Francis and Ian for 4 nights and shared a dinner with them on our first evening. Francis is a great cook and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Ian has a tour business and so they are very knowledgable about Iceland and very willing to help. The twin room was very clean and breakfast was...
