Sabine and Andy have a very special place at Ansaku. We initially chose Ansaku as we were doing a couple of hikes on the Bruce Trail nearby, but were delighted with the accommodation, the superb breakfasts and the idyllic surroundings. The hot tub after our hike was a nice bonus. Both Andy and Sabine are talented folks and their handiwork...

We had planned to stay at Ansaku back in October but didn't end up making it. Just wanted to write a review about how great Sabine and Andy were with our email correspondence and planning. They were very quick to respond and were always friendly and helpful. We look forward to staying there another time.

The breakfast was so much that I didn't need lunch that day. Friends of mine were staying in another room, and they thought the same....

My husband and I have family in Markdale and when we come to visit we stay at Ansaku. Sabine and Andy are always so welcoming. Ansaku is such a quiet, restful place. The rooms are large and everything is immaculate. This couple love what they're doing and it shows. Great, great experience. I can't recommend it strongly enough.

My daughters gave me a week-end trip away together and they planned it, start to finish. They booked our stay just north of Toronto at Ansaku. We stayed in the cottage which had a kitchen as well as sleeping for 3 and a full bathroom, but best of all...we had our own sauna - what a joy using that was....

The silent nature is really great and the long distances unbelievable for europeans. The Kurtz family really show that they love what they do and everybody is welcome. The house is nice and the surroundings fit into the nature. Our room was big and very nice with handmade furniture. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was great. High Standard...
