The ambience alone is worth the drive to this north coast resort where I had an expert Swedish massage and shared delectable culinary delights with my small family. The horizon pool, breezy coconut-shaded Salybia beach across the way and vintage accommodation with modern creature comforts made fro a perfect weekend retreat. Lavender room highly recommended!

So I remembered stumbling upon this neatly tucked away resort in San Souci. For Port of Spain folks its about a two hour trip for you guys. South people, well you guys might want to leave at the crack of dawn and well for me, I'm already close by, only 40 minutes away. This was really an impromptu kinda decision... More

I beleive it's one of the best hotels in the Toco/San Souci/Grand Riveire area. The staff went over and above to make our stay comfortable. Parking is a bit iffy. We wanted to expolre the coast during our stay and had to have someone move their vehicle which was blocking us. I beleive that they cater for person not really... More

Anise is the place to be on the northern coast of Trinidad. Our hosts greeted us with cool damp towels and a lovely fruit drink to soothe and refresh us upon arriving. As you enter this paradise, you are immediately submersed in your surroundings, luxurious furnishings, local art work displayed with pride. However I have saved the best for last,... More

My daughter and I recently stayed at the Anise Resort to attend a wedding that was held on site. It was my first return back to island of my birth in many years. We arrived on an early morning flight from Toronto. Be forewarned, the resort is a two-hour drive from the airport. I would recommend coordinating transfers through the... More

Amazing is what this place is, myself and four others went for a family wedding which was near by, but as we were travelling from the Uk we decided to make the visit a holiday of two weeks. It turned out to be more than a holiday, the staff are friendly, and fabulous at what they do from the Gardner... More

I was pleasantly surprised to know there is a place in Trinidad where service means service. We wanted a place to relax as well as take my daughter and two grandchildren who was visiting from Miami to a place on the north so they could see the turtles. We looked at a number of places but Anise Resort & Spa... More
