OK, so even if it wasn't the only bar in the village, I reckon it would still be the best. Very welcoming staff and locals. Sensible prices and good pub grub. The chocolate brownie is epic. Friday night is takeaway night even if you eat you takeaway there -- get in early! I imagine it gets very busy during the...

A truly amazing place to stay, amazing hosts, rooms were great, highly recommended. The food was delicious, I tried the specials, languistines, all I can say is wow. Followed by steak that was cooked to perfection, a amazing hidden secret.

Nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. We stayed in the four poster room (room 3) which was very comfortable. The single track road to access the hotel wasn't really a problem as it was quite quiet when we were there (end of October). Reasonable rate for the night which included a very tasty breakfast !

I visited the hotel with my family on a Friday night towards the end of October. We've been to Ardnamurchan many times over the past few years but this was our first visit to the hotel. It has a great little pub but it was the fish suppers that really impressed. Possibly the best we've had, really fresh fish and...

We booked the Kilchoan hotel through booking.com and received all the confirmation details, as we were traveling during the day and evening on some amazing roads (avoiding all the sheep) we did not arrive until 8pm. When we arrived we tried to check I'm but our details were not in the system and Ross the manager said they had been...

I must admit, I did not have high expectations for the hotel. We arrived and were greeted by Alex. He was great, very friendly. We had the whole hotel booked for our group. The rooms were nice, not fancy, but clean and better than expected. The food was very good. Dinner and breakfast were great. The pub was a lot...

Didn't stay at the hotel so can't comment on the rooms . We ate there for 5 nights whilst staying in a cottage nearby . Great food every night , varied menu , cosy surroundings with friendly staff and locals . Dogs not allowed in the main dining room but are welcome in the bar areas where food is served

Called in for food for a couple of nights. I had Steak and Ale pie which was lovely. The shoulder of lamb which my partner had was not. We were told 'it falls of the bone', not quite, she had to wrestle it of. She did say it tasted nice though.Stick toffee pudding was nice, a bit dry on one...
