Copamarina for 5 days with our 1-year old and 3-year old was an incredible bookend to our 10 days in Puerto Rico this February. We loved the pools, the food, and we went on several excursions to nearby beaches and towns: including Playa Sucia and, of course, Gilligan's Island.

We just left Puerto Rico this past weekend and I can’t say enough great things about our stay at Copamarina. It was beautiful , quiet and relaxing. Everything we were looking for as a getaway from the San Juan area. The food at the cafe was to die for and of course the daily

A must if you are in the south of the island. Planning my wedding there next year outdoor/indoor and by the beach. Beautiful place to have a couple of drinks by the Caribbean sea even if you are not staying! Gabi at the bar and Aracelis at reception, are the best!

The grounds are very beautiful at this location. The check in service needs to be improved. The food was overpriced. Only one pool towel per person. If you forget to return the pool card it's 25.00 per person. No coolers allowed on the property. I called to have an issue

We had a wonderful time here. Flew into San Juan and drove a rental car here (about a 2 hour drive). (The roads are not in great shape here, so we were glad we rented a Jeep.) Our room was in the first building, and our patio overlooked a perfectly kept lawn with scattered

Try not to go from San Juan to Guánica M-F from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. Its rush hour. Drive during the daytime since toll road is under major repairs: be in the lookout for potholes! Like others have suggested, download free app Waze. It's a nice way to know the greater Island of the Puerto Rican archipelago, the largest of some 180, two of them are Island municipalities. Impressive diverse eco-systems in Puerto Rico: El Yunque rainforest and dry Forest (near Copamarina), karst mountain range, beaches, bioluminiscent bays (one in Parguera, Lajas near Guánica), wetlands, fertile valleys, etc. Enjoy!

You can rent a car which is relatively less expensive than an Uber or Taxi and this also allows you to drive to the other beaches near by such as Combate (30 mins) or La parguera which is known for its snorkeling and scuba. La Buye y Playa Sucia are less than 20 mins from the resort. Target car rental is our preferred place for the past 5 yrs.
