Stayed at Mimi's Guest House recently for 3 nights and everything was just perfect. We had a group of 5 and rented 3 rooms. We were met upon arrival by David, our most gracious host and shown to our rooms, which were all very clean and ready for us to move into. This is a wonderful place to relax and... More

Based upon the glowing reviews we decided to stay at Mimi's. The price for the 4 person room was also a deciding factor. However upon arriving I wondered if we were at the wrong place. Rooms seemed dirty and every fixture, handle, surface that could be rusty or dirty was rusty or dirty. I have found a couple of other... More

I can not be happier, the Guest House is fantastic, David is a fantastic host, he really knows the place around. Guanica is a great place to explore around, going to La Parguera or Ponce. Do not miss going to Las Bodegas Andreu. Thanks again David for this amazing stay.

My husband and I stayed at Mimi's Guesthouse in October 2015. We stayed in Christina room. The view from the bedroom was relaxing with trees, a nice cross breeze. Waking up to the sound of chirping birds and fresh air was a real treat. We enjoyed a couple of the local beaches, hiked to Fuerte Capron which has an exhilarating... More

Last week we (my wife and I) visited Puerto Rico and stayed at this place again. We’ve stayed before and every time we’re there we have a new unique experience. This last time, we were treated to the owners newest feature. Since we last stayed a few years ago, Mimi’s has started to offer home style Puerto Rican meals. We... More

My friend and I wanted to see what Puerto Rico had to offer. We found Mimi's and were not disappointed. The owner David is amazing and knows Guanica like the back of his had. He personally took us out and should is a locals perspective on what the town had to offer, and it was amazing. He made our stay... More

STAY HERE!!!! You owe it to yourself. David was just great, and extremely knowledgeable about the local surroundings in terms of both outdoor activities and food. We simply followed all of his suggestions and had a marvelous time. He put us on the best food we had in Puerto Rico...and twice. He also recommended a couple hikes that were very... More

When we got there I almost run, because the first impression was terrible. The place looks abandoned and dirty. The area around the guest house needs attention, affection and painting. There garbage and crap around that needs to be collected. The room looks clean and has a comfortable bed. Although the room looks clean I saw 3 cockroaches in 3... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our time at Mimi's. The room was nicely decorated and spacious. Our host, David, was friendly, knowledgable, and available to help. The area has beautiful beaches and is an easy drive to a wonderful coastal hike. Mimi's is secluded and VERY quiet! There is no wifi, so be ready to really unplug... Oh, and... More

I agree with a review posted a week ago about the place being overpriced and dirty. We stayed in a different room but had the same experience - it was musty, furniture was old and falling apart, and there were little to no amenities. The bath and "beach towels" were so crunchy that I cringed using them when I got... More
