Excellent location in the centre of bars, restaurants and shops. Also hotel is close to the beach. Hotel was very clean and the bed was very big! Beach is in the process of being cleaned after the Gota Fria and long promenade beside the beach is being repaired but still able to walk or cycle along it.

We stay at this hotel quite a bit as it’s great value but only for a few nights as a stop over or playing golf. The hotel itself is great with large rooms (we stayed in a junior suite this time but would suggest a normal room is about the same space) and it’s clean. The only downside is the facilities. It has a roof top pool which is great and rarely too busy to get a bed in September. They could do so much more by having pool bar service and a more proactive approach from the bar men who just sit down on their phones when nobody is waiting for a drink. We found ourselves clearing up as nobody else did! The food is also a disappointment in that there isn’t a lot on offer and they often run out of things. Overheard they ran out of chips! Eat elsewhere but utilise the hotel for its room only (at quite a discounted price compared to other hotels) and you will be fine! Local restaurant musts are Hemingway’s, Little Sicily and the Lounge but you have to book in advance to not be disappointed. Roda golf club does a lovely breakfast with great views and only a 15 minute walk. I wouldn’t recommend more than a few days in the area unless you are playing golf or sightseeing places like Cartagena.

Stayed for seven nights b&b with a group of golfers. A very nice hotel spotless and clean towels daily with two bedding changes in a week. Rooms are what you’d expect in a 4* with powerful showers. Nice touch to have an electric kettle if you want to make tea/coffee but you have to get your own tea etc from the dining room which supplies a very good buffet breakfast. Very friendly staff who were always polite and ready to deal with any queries or arrange taxis etc. The hotel is located in a perfect location with numerous bars and restaurants literally within 50yds of the main entrance, however there may be a price to pay for this with boisterous late night revellers (usually British!!) who could disturb your sleep if you have a room facing the main strip. Nice rooftop pool area if you don’t fancy the 5-10 min stroll to the beach. Definitely recommend for golfers with ample courses within 15min transfer with the excellent transfer service.

This is a lovely hotel in an excellent location next to the square with bars and restaurants. Beach is a 15 minute walk away. Rooms are spotless, very large even the standard rooms and either views of the square of the sea. Rooftop pool is lovely as well. Would highly recommend staying here.

The reason for the average is there are some details which need to be highlighted to keep up a good standard. The room is of a good size ,a large king size bed and a good walk in rainshower. Firstly the room had the smell of 'smoking' which had got into the curtains and was very unpleasant. I take it some one was smoking at the door to the balcony and the smoke alarm failed to pick this up? Housekeeping must have been aware of this. As you state in your website ,it is smoke free and you can 'breathe deeply' and a fine of e100? We had unpacked by then and solved the problem over several days by applying Air freshner. As to housekeeping this was not up to standard of a 4* hotel ,as the sheets and towels were exchanged , but not changing used cups or cleaning the bathroom floor especially around the toilet. Website states 'Safe stay hotel'. As stated in a past review no coffee replenished in the room? Had to ask at reception. The hairdryer had the universal concentrator broken as well as the shelf in the mini fridge. Spoke to reception about replacements but nothing was done. The staff at reception were pleasant but appear complacent. Its not a bad hotel but you just need to up your game and have some quality control over housekeeping. We stayed in Rm 310

Of course, all your thoughts and feedback are really appreciated and highly valued, and consequently we try to use your very own suggestions to improve the quality of our service. And now going into the specifics, - It is unfortunately true that some of our guests do not comply with our free of smoke policy. It is also true that they are getting fined, but the fine is 200€. - Regarding the housekeeping department, I am sorry if you were not satisfied with their service, they do your room on a daily basis and they should have changed your cups for sure. Also please bear in mind that you have your amenities replenished once every day, and any more than that, it has either a supplement or you can buy on the vending machines or bar. - With respect to our team, I assure you they are all well trained and willing to help and listen to you. I would like for you to know how far they get in order to have you happy and satisfied, how hard they try to keep our high standard. The hotel has rooms with 2 kinds of bathroom: with walk-in shower and with a bathtube (in which you have to climb in). Because of our age we wanted a walkin shower, this was not a problem, we were switched to another room inmediately upon our request. Friendly staff, good bed, good shower. Very strange that in the room there is a water cooker and cups, but no tea bags or coffee bags. You have to buy it yourself, if you want to make tea of coffee in the room. This is a very nice, clean and well maintained hotel. Each member of staff is kind and courteous. The spoken English of reception staff is excellent. My husband and I have just had a wonderful week in Hotel 525. The hotel is spotless and the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and really professional. Our bedroom was cleaned daily and our towels replaced. The bed was enormous and very very comfortable. We booked in for breakfast every day and were impressed with the efficiency of how the food was laid out and replaced. Very fresh and I was served with gluten free bread and cake/biscuits automatically after I requested it on the first morning. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel - the receptionists, restaurant staff and cleaning staff. You all made for a really pleasant stay.

Wow! Just wow! From the moment we walked in extremely early from an early morning flight I knew this was going to be a great stay! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Although we knew our room wouldn’t be ready we asked if we could store our luggage and of course this was no problem at all. The reception staff were lovely, they even went back in and got my luggage so I could change about half an hour after first dropping it off. We went away for a few hours and came back in the afternoon and were greeted by different staff. Again so welcoming and friendly. I was absolutely over the moon with my room. I has pre requested a room overlooking the main strip of bars and restaurants and that’s exactly what I got and more! They so kindly upgraded me to fulfil my request. My room is stunning! We then went to the rod terrace bar and had a swim in the pool. The staff up there were also so lovely and friendly. I highly recommend a stay here. Perfect location, great rooms and most importantly for me great staff who make you feel welcome! My friends who have a home here have just popped in to see our room and they are so impressed. I give this 10/10!

The beach is 5 mins max away, not sure if it is main beach or what it's like as it was out of season and pretty much empty. Lots of food and drinks place right outside hotel with something for everyone
