Staying with Martin and Kathy on our way down to the Lot is far more than just a convenient stopover. It is something special that we always look forward to and is guaranteed to make us feel better and more relaxed than when we started our journey. Martin and Kathy are so welcoming, that glowing log fire, in the winter,...

This place is great. Martin and Kathy immediately feel like long time friends who you have decided to pop into see on your way home from a trip. I have had the pleasure of their company twice now (once with my Dog, Max and once on my own) and on both occasions my expectations were surpassed. They create a great...

You won't get any better than this. Incredibly welcoming and friendly, Martin and Cathy are fabulous hosts. A perfect stopover on our journey to the south. The room was great, bathroom even better but......dinner was incredible. Restaurant quality food in a relaxed setting. Sitting under the gazebo, with a beautifully decorated table, we were served with 3 delicious courses (none...

We were able to stay twice this year and have never yet (in 8 stays) been saddened by our stay other than the fact that we have to leave! Le Canard is a comfortable drive to and from the channel ports and you can be assured of a warm welcome and a cold beer. Kathy and Martin always put on...

I knew we would like this B&B as soon as I saw the pictures. A beautiful property owned and run by two lovely people. Martin and Kathy made us feel at home immediately, and we were able to relax and settle in before drinks and dinner with our hosts and other guests. Kathy cooked up a storm with a 4...

I booked this B&B as it was enroute to our gite in the south of France and after reading all the rave reviews on here. We had a lovely experience that certainly lived up to the hype. We stayed for one night in the Manor suite which included a four poster bed (super King size) and a small single bed...

Martin and Kathy made us feel welcome from the word go. Nothing was too much trouble. Set in a beautiful location we were able to relax straight away. Our room was lovely and beautifully decorated. Evening meals were served in the garden and all guests were encouraged to share stories whilst enjoying the delicious food Kathy had prepared. We stayed...

Well where do I start. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Martin immediately as we stepped out of our car before being joined shortly after by Kathy who was busy preparing our evening meal. We were shown our room and after a quick freshen up we joined the other guests for dinner which was amazing! The evening turned out to...

I stayed with friends just for one night at this beautiful b&b. My friends have stayed here many times and this time I was lucky enough to join them. We were ALL greeted like long lost friends, a lovely chilled glass of wine was at the ready as soon as we had settled into our rooms. The attention to detail...
