I've had lunch here a few times and I stayed one night with 2 friends, we had dinner bed @ breakfast. Food is always good, anytime of the day. There is music at weekends, it is a wedding venue. Visited once at Christmas time and the decorations were lovely. Upstairs restaurant has beautiful views overlooking Carlingford Lough and the Cooley...

Stayed in the Whistledown recently after a show. Briege at reception was quick, courteous and informative on check in. The room is huge and has great facilities, including a modern en suite. The hotel restaurant offers a great menu and was full both up and downstairs. The food was gorgeous and we'll priced. All staff were very helpful and took...

The resturant squeezed our group of 20 in at late notice and even when we had to increase by 4 it was absolutely no problem. Stayed here on the 14th April as a last minute birthday present from my father. This hotel was such a treat, the package I was booked on was dinner, room and breakfast. Because it was my birthday the hotel automatically upgraded us to a suite which had stunning views of the seafront and was very spacious. At dinner we got...

We were given a spacious, comfortable room overlooking the water. We thought this would be an enjoyable evening. BUT, the partying and yelling in addition to music went on just outside our window until 1 am. I have never experienced such a noisy hotel. Our meal in the restaurant was quiet good and the service was friendly and professional.

Just back from a 2 night stay in the Whistledown. It is right on the shore of Carlingford Lough so you're only a step or two away from beautiful scenery and a promenade stroll . Rooms are modern and well equipped and most importantly the beds were really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were really approachable and extremely helpful....
