The house is a little noisy and one of the driers is not drying well and The shared rooms could have lockers. But it is in a great location and the staff is very friendly. The street is very calm. and you can't get better location in motueka.

This is a basic hostel, but good in all respects and with very friendly staff. Only issues were a poor shower (more of a mist really) and having to pay for internet (eg $10 for 2Gb). In 2017 nowhere should be charging for internet (we didn't even pay in Central America), this is an essential part of travel for planning,...

The hostel is well managed - the room was clean and have a decent size, the linen although very old, but clean, shared toilets well-kept. The owner, Suzanne was very helpful and approachable. She helped us with our activities in Abel Tasman and even recommended dropping by at Riwaka. We didn't need to go to i-Site as she knows mostly...

I stayed 3 nights in this hostel, it's in the centre of the little town of Motueka and in a good distance for car to go to Abel Tasman park. The owners are very friendly and helpful, they care about the good rest of their guests. I took a private room without toilet which was ok, it was basic but...

Nice hostel, very clean, beds confortables and good location, no wifi but you can pay for MB or look for the free wifi in the I site office in front of the hostel. I will stay at the hostel if I come back to Motueka.

Free tea/coffee Clean kitchen Right across from i-site/pick ups for Abel Tasman activities Annoying timed outlets (have to press button to charge for 20min at a time... so charging your phone consistently is impossible, if not inconvenient) They almost never have anyone sitting at reception which is also very annoying to get a hold of them... Metal bunk bed needed...

Nice place to stay, the owner is very friendly and they did a real effort on the decoration. Too bad that the WiFi is not free, this is not a expensive service to set up in 2016 and it make all the difference. -1 for having installed a timer on the power sockets in the rooms which is just a...

A great location in central Motueka and easy access into Abel Tasman. A clean and tidy complex directly across the road from the i-site. Double En-suite room was comfortable, warm and great value. Suzanne is very welcoming and helpful.
