This was the greatest hostel we had on our total New Zealand trip! It is very clean (rooms, kitchen, bathromms,...) and you have a lot of room to read, for telef´vision or to have a barbecue. The owner are very kind and friendly! The hostel is also a perfect place to start in the Abel Tasman nationalpark.

Hi! We're really pleased you enjoyed your stay. Do tell others about us, if you think they might want to stay - and Abel Tasman National Park is just so beautiful, isn't it?

This is a great place in Riwaka just north of Motueka. The surroundings are beautiful! We stayed both in a bunk room with shared facilities and an en suite double. Both were excellent: spacious and clean. The kitchen was very good and large, plenty of fridges. Good equippment. Free wifi with lots of data. I have absolutely nothing to complain...

This review has hit on some important points. We are perhaps the best located accommodation lodge in our area if you want to be in a farming area with expansive surroundings and views. The reviewer was in one of our two 4-share rooms. We are planning to 'up-market' these rooms to create more privacy for each person and provide other...

We had a fantastic time at the lodge and honestly didn't want to leave! The hosts were very generous, from our first day when they picked us up from town on very short notice and offered to stop at the supermarket, till our last one, when they gave us a ride to nearby Kaiteriteri to catch a bus. Throughout our...

Continued confirmation that we are providing a great place to relax and explore the Tasman region is always welcome. We are finding many more people now stay at Eden's Edge for longer periods and use it as their base for Abel Tasman National Park, Golden Bay and Kahurangi National Park.

Great place, helpful hosts, well equipped kitchen, very clean, beautiful garden and decks, spacious lounges. Had a double room with ensuite which was great value. Would stay again. Great base for adventures around the region.

This is a wonderful hostel on a quiet country road, but easily bikeable, walkable, or driveable into Motueka. Liz greeted me and kindly suggested dinner spots and an itinerary for the following day; her attention to detail and the spotless room indicate much thoughtfulness in taking care of the property and her guests. Eden's Edge makes a perfect place to...

The lodge is quite close to the Abel Tasman area. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are large enough and clean and the community kitchen is a nice place to cook your meal and to meet other people. There is a laundry facility and of course free internet :)

We travelled in a campervan using the facilities provided by hostels or campergrounds. This site was certainly one of the best we have seen so far. It is located far enough from the main road to be very quiet, but very close to Abel Tasman Park. The facilities are spotless and well kept, the owners seem to work very hard...

I had stopped here in December 2014 and this place was a close to perfection as you could get. Big kitchen with everything you could ask for, great living areas and outside sitting areas.
