Irene very friendly lovely lady who runs this complex. She upgraded us from a studio apartment to a one bed apartment. Apartment had all we needed to ensure we had a great stay of three nights, roomy with good shower and comfortable bed. We stayed here 3 days as a jump-off point for visiting Tasman National Park. Irene, the manager, keeps the place very neat and tidy. The prices for the cabins and the camping were the best value we found in NZ. It's a short walk into town so you don't even need to move the car to dine or buy groceries....

was found here! Irene, the owner, is charming and epitomizes all that is good about Kiwi's and small business owners. She is attentive to all details and treats everyone like family. Location is excellent...quiet but close to all amenties (grocery store, restaurants, shops etc.) Our room was great value for the dollar, very clean and spacious enough for the two...

We are very lucky to have stayed at the Vineyard Tourist Units. We camped there for a very reasonable price in comparison to the facilitates, but it was the owner that made our stay very relaxed and worry free. She even baked fresh scones and handed them out to all the guests! I can't say that if you stay here...

The Vineyard is small, the bathrooms are cramped but clean, chickens and cats patrol the grounds. And the owner is the most charming, considerate and helpful service person we've ever met. If you want to meet fellow world travelers, or Kiwis working in the orchards on a temporary basis, cook your meal in the communal kitchen and you'll soon become...
