Arriving from Luang Prabang on a boat we looked forward to a good night sleep. Found the hotel by chance and were greeted by a very friendly owner. He gave us a choice of rooms and we had an airconditioned two bed ,clean large place. The bathroom had a good shower ,clean with great towels ,slippers and shampoos ,soap etc....

Rooms are spacious and clean. The showers are hot and you can choose air conditioning or fan, depends on how hot it is in town. The location is right in the center of all activities and across from the gibbon experience. They arrange bus and slow boat tickets as well, all though you do pay a bit extra for this...

This hotel has a great potential, located right in the center of main street, nicely decorated with hard wooden furniture and shiny tiles. Run by a very nice family, the daughter who is sometimes at reception desk doesn't speak any English though. The room was ok, except for the shower that was very moldy and unpleasant, and could have easily...

We stayed in the hotel the night before our gibbon experience started (office is right across the street - which is handy). Staying for one night was ok, but nothing more. We payed 10$ for the room. Compared with all the other accommodations we stayed in during our trip, this was the worst. The room appeared to be moldy and...

Not trustworthy. The room looks good with AC and Wi-Fi. Actually AC is not working at all, and the WiFi is poor. I booked a bus ticket with them. What a mistake. They told me 3 times with different people from the reception and management that the bus is at 10am. It was at 9am (for years...). I had to...

Staff gave us cleaning supplies to clean our shoes n free tea n coffee. However the beds are rock solid. Hot showers weren't very hot n the internet cut out a lot A little over priced...

The hotel was fine for one night, the price was acceptable (70 000 kip for a single room). They provided drinking water and towel. The shower was OK. Wifi worked good, even in my room on the second floor. Also a good location for the Gibbon experience.

We stayed at Thaveesinh for one night. The air-con in the room barley made any difference, and it was hot the entire time. We also had a cockroach in the shower, plus a lot of ants. They did help us book a slowboat for the day after, but all guesthouses in the town do the same.

We stayed one night before taking the slow boat to Luang Prabang. Although the room were quite sizeable, it was dirty and not well cleaned out. We found trash and old clothes under the beds, which didn't feel that good...

“No lift so if you want to avoid the stairs ask for a lower floor however the breakfast is served on the roof terrace so you will need to climb up four flights at least once per day.”
