Plus: in the centre of town, in a quiet straat. Young, sympathetic, friendly staff who know their profession Good restaurant, that serves breakfast after your own wishes (no buffet, you order what you want). Minus: no safe for laptop bed was to hard warm water for shower took a while (maybe we had a room in the mansarde?)

The hotel is located in an old, historical building, very nice decorated, with very tall rooms, nice furniture, as you step inside you feel the flavor of old times and past history from Maramures. It is close to the city center. Ideal for one night stop. The restaurant in the cellar is also very nice. Wifi works very well.

I have stayed only one night at Hotel Poesus during a business trip. For those who like old style buildings and furniture this is a nice place. Staff is OK but could be better, rooms are cozy and decently clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast is decent, although it's not buffet. Parking limited free places, however one can park on the...

I was really disappointed when I stayed at this hotel. From the outside the hotel looks really nice. Also the garden is nice. When I got inside the room I felt like I'm in a cheap motel room. I understand that the furniture it supposed to be old but I would expect to be restored not a piece of junk...

We spent a week at this quaint boutique hotel and restaurant while in Satu Mare. The street facing room on the main floor was large with comfortable beds. The street is quiet with little traffic. Breakfast was nice with your own choices preselected the previous day. Enjoyed a couple of dinners at the restaurant's garden terrace and were pleased with...

Hotel is in good position but shower leaves you no place to put your soap and hair products and wasting water this way is ridiculous. The dials work the opposite way to what is expected and bedding for a couple was just for one. This was rectified immediately but when complaining that the bar fridge was not cold, the response...

This hotel is definately not up to being a 4 star hotel, it would be pushing it to be 3. The large bed for 2 people only had one single blanket for 1 person. When we asked why they said sometimes it is enough for 2. In the restuarant the waiter asked if we wanted a drink and we asked...

During a family visit we stayed 3 nights at the Poesis hotel in Satu Mare, Romania. The first two nights we took a standard double room, the last night we spent in the Presidental Suite. The standard room was furnished with antiques. The bathroom was equiped with a multi functional shower, which unfortunately worked only with the handheld shower head....

If you stay in this hotel it feels like you are travelling back in time, like you are in peacefull Transilvania 100 years ago, but still you have all the modern things that you need. It's located in the city center, and still it's quiet. Each room differ so if you can visit all the rooms to pick out which...

Have stayed at hotel Poesis lat weekend with a friend of mine! I was surprised to find a nice and tasty decorated small hotel antic style with a small but really peaceful terrace! Rooms are big and so are the bathrooms with big screen LCD TV. Unfortunately the breakfast choice is very very low. You can chose things from a...
