This is a lovely character inn. Wonderful hosts, great food, very clean and a peaceful location with lovely views. Our only slight disappointment was that the bed was not that comfy - possibly a new mattress required in the room we were in...

Coming up to the Rossmount Inn is always a treat, it is a beautiful old building on a hill with a tree lined driveway. Walking into the building, you are taken away by the amount of woodwork throughout the main areas and the amazing smells all around. We were seated in the dining room, in one of the corners and...

Rossmount is a hotel and restaurant on a hill outside Saint Andrews with views over the surrounding countryside. It's a careful recreation of the original house that was lost to fire. The ground floor is given to reception, bar/lounge and dining room with a verandah. Rooms are on the upper two floors. If you intend to eat in the restaurant...

Beautiful building on a hill. The pool deck is simply fabulous and perfect for relaxing with a book and cocktail. The restaurant is divine - you must eat here! The food is expertly prepared - highly recommend.

The Rossmount inn it's an old house that accommodates guess with the beauty and luxury from a century ago. It is a quiet place to relax and enjoy the silence and beauty of nature. The restaurant is amazing (wrote a separate review for that) and the facilities are good. The only thing I have to say about the place is...

The outside of this place is not impressive. Inside is old world elegance, charm and very nice staff. An example of this-as soon as we mentioned going out to the porch with our drinks our bartender said-"you go ahead out, find a spot and I will find you". Feels almost european. The rooms were well appointed if not large. Comfortable....

We ate at the Rossmount the first night in St. Andrews. Great meal! I had the quail dish that was very tasty. The portion was one and a half quail, which, with the vegetables, was more than enough to eat. My wife had the naked lobster (it comes deshelled and in a light sauce) that was both delicious and of...

On booking to stay make sure that you get a reservation to dine in house. We slogged for four hours in the car to stay at this hostelry, our final two nights in Canada, having been enticed by the promise of wonderful food only to be cursorily told by reception that there wasn't a hope of getting a table. It...

We arrived very late after a long drive on a Friday night, and were graciously met by Graziella. It was such a nice welcome after being in the car all day. Our stay was spectacular. The room was very clean and breakfast was excellent. It filled us up perfectly. Everyone working at the Inn were helpful and friendly, from fixing...

I work in St. Andrews every summer for a few weeks. I don't stay here as my work puts me up in a private home BUT do my best to eat here as often as I can. I have NEVER had a disappointing meal - in fact the food is beyond excellent; Fresh, local, inventive - memorable! Some of the...
