Called in here on Sunday 4th Oct initially just for a drink in the bar ,we were pleasantly greeted ,served promptly (drinks very reasonably priced) by a very friendly landlady .We decided to have the Sunday roast and it was lovely, proper Sunday dinner.
Had a couple of drinks in the pub, great beer garden with the 50+ animals, had a children's play area. Good place for kids. We didn't eat so can't comment on the food or didn't stay over but would recommend going for a drink
manager was friendly enough interior / exterior needs a lot of work as it is very run down although have been told its closing in sept for a total rip out and opening again in time for xmas will visit again see the difference
