The outside looks very rundown but they're fixing up the inside and provide many free facilities like internet, computers, satellite tv etc for guests to use. Owners were fairly nice had no problems with anything.

We stayed for a night at Fit hostel. It's right next to the airport and the cheapest hostel in Keflavik. Great place, big common room and a kitchen with everything you need. Everything was really clean when we were there. We had a room in number 6 building. We had our own sleeping bags and I think it's the best...

You stay there when you have an early flight or a late arrival really. Only to be able to lay down somewhere rather than outside or to avoid to pay a taxi too much... I was in a 6 beds dormitory. No bedsheets... In the morning, some impolite people came in the bedroom and started to speak loud to wake...

Stayed here for one night with a group of 6 (including myself) friends. We got there at 11pm after a long day and found to our disgust that we had to call a mystery manager and give six sets of credit card details over the phone. The hostel had previously said it was fine to split the bill but the...

Horrible place!!!! Please, dont go there!!! I had to spend one night in Keflavik because my plane arrived very late (2 am) and the day after I was picking up a rented car to start my trip. I choose the place cause it fit my budget, and I was expecting something basic but thats not what I found when I...

We just left this place last night. After spending 15 minutes. There are nice pictures of it online. I understand sometimes pictures look a tad better on line than what exists in reality. In this case, the pictures ARE NOT the same. The place looks like a dump. The buildings are degrading and cracking. It's located in the middle of...

We stayed here because we had an early flight from Keflavik. It's located in an industrial area that was kind of hard to find. It's pretty shabby, even for a hostel. Our room had bare beds that we had to make up ourselves. The beds themselves were passable, barely. But the biggest problem was the constant noise from airplanes coming...

Already approaching the hotel we started having a bad feeling. The building is run down, with paint peeling off the side, wall cracks, rusty roof... It looks like it is falling apart. Parked the car, the sensation intensified... Rusty containers, abandoned cars, metal junk laying around. We checked in and proceeded to the room I am not sure how people...

Loud drunk people all night, no actual 24 hour front desk, mystery stains and unclean linens, hair all over linens, expects people who pay money to clean the place (I get cleaning up after yourself but I'm not paying good money to scrub the toilet). This place is completely run down and basically a part of a junk yard or...

Stayed here briefly one night after a flight, before driving into Reykjavik the next day. The beds were small but passable, however the room was not very clean and quite loud from the sound of other guests talking even at normal conversation volume. There was no person working at the venue (which itself raises some questions about security), and so...
