Very comfortable B&B made very welcoming by Amalie. Beds very good, nice shower, but the highlight was the outstanding breakfast. The couple also run a coffee shop downstairs and let you mix and match from the breakfast menu. I had pancakes, eggs, and bacon while my brother had what he described as the best omelette he had ever eaten. I...

Great location - the quiet and calm of this place create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Good view of the lake and the tower ruins next to the place add a touch of history. Breakfast here is fabulous - the best porridge ever! Our host was a wealth of information in helping us get to where we needed to go....

The cooking is done SO well and the dishes are all perfect. The chef was so warm and friendly and it is obvious that...

I was staying in Lough Derg House last weekend. I was the organiser of a holiday for 14 people and I can't thank Declan and Fiona enough for their hospitality. They made everything very easy for me to book and arrange and helped me organise activities when I needed a helping hand. The accommodation itself was super, the rooms are...

Declan and his team went out of their way to look after us, even staying on a bit longer than usual at the restaurant/cafe to facilitate us when we got back from the lake after an...

They took great care of us while we were on a vacation from the States. They even took us out for a pint. We sat down and had great conversation. They introduced us to their friends and we had a great night.
