Lara hotel is a small family/relations run hotel...very friendly with good basic clean rooms.
You are made to feel welcome and location good.... Steep hill to beach the only thing to watch out for.
Looking all over this was definitely one of the better places...More

Staff serving breakfast and behind the bar were really professional and friendly. Also rooms cleaned well every day.

Not easily. There are buses into Argostoli, the capital, from Vlachata (at the top of the hill) and there is a timetable. They are infrequent but one goes around about 9am. Not sure how reliable they are though. A couple of years ago they introduced a local bus service between Lourdas Beach, Vlachata and Trapazaki which runs regularly throughout the day during the summer months. One can but presume that it will happen again this year!

We had a side sea view room on first floor .couldn't really see it as olive trees in the way .If you ask for too floor you can see it .But the night sky is awesome whatever side of hotel yr on.the opposite side is mountain... More

Email the owner he will accomadate you If he can .Enjoy its a lovely friendly but not intrusive hotel.
