If you want an affordable accommodation with great atmosphere that has a fun jungle vibe, and is close-by to the beach, employs friendly staff, and serves good well-priced food, look no further. Stilts is great!

Wayne (owner) was really friendly and helpful, and fostered a super relaxed atmosphere, as well as getting us discounted rates for pretty much everything we wanted to do. The bush baby feeding is amazing, the food is remarkably good and fairly cheap, and the location is perfect, with easy access to the beach. The treehouses were really comfortable and the...

Stilt's is genuinely one of the best backpackers I have ever stayed at. It is difficult to summarise why - you will just have to visit and see why - but here's a shot: Wayne is truly the loveliest and most hospitable man I have encountered. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home. He has...

We stayed here for 5 days and we loved it! We were made to feel at home right from the start. The hostel owner was really friendly and always happy to help us with anything like helping us book scuba and a day trip to Wasini. We loved the treehouse we stayed in and it was amazing getting to feed...

What a cool experience! We stayed here for a few nights in January 2017 and were wow'd by the friendly staff, cheap prices, cold Tuskers, closeness to the beach, the monkeys, and obviously the feeding of the adorable bush babies! Great for individuals, couples, or groups of friends! Everybody was so friendly and the main lobby area was perfect for...

What to say about this place.. a quick glance on the existing reviews shows that pretty much everything has been said already! Despite all the practical things, such as the safety, the location, the clean and well-maintained facilities, and great affordable fresh food (especially the pancakes and the calamari), it is truly a 'home away from home'. While all the...

Great place to stay. Wayne (the owner) was really helpful and gave us many useful contacts. We felt very safe at all times. There is a mutual agreement with Forty Thieves that they walk you to/ from the bar back to Stilts for extra safety after dark. The food was good and we loved the Bush Babies, which visited each...
