We stayed in the Firimbi Cottage (2 Bedroom) and had a great time. Both inside and the outdoor area was really nice. The beach is reasonably close by. The chef and house keeper were great. The Manager was also really really helpful.

Kitu kidogo is a Beautiful place (really nice!) just 5 minutes walking from the beach. The bed is nice, the toilet, the kitchen and the terrace are lovely... The garden is also beautiful but we found big bugs in the room so we would recommend to isolate the door and windows to prevent this issue since it is unconfortable... AC...

We stayed at the Firimbi (bigger) Cottage for 4 nights, and absolutely loved it. Both inside and the outdoor area was really nice. Inside was nicely decorated, and the bedrooms had A/C. Spent quite a lot of time, especially in the evenings, on the porch. The meals we had was also in the dining area on the porch. Two nights...

My wife and I stayed in the smaller cottage over Christmas. We had a great holiday. Edith was more then helpful whether arranging bookings for the restaurant, arranging taxis or doing our laundry. She was wonderful. We ate a couple of times in Ali Barbour's and a couple of time down the beach at Nomads both great restaurants. Our only...

Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Kitu Kidogo Cottages and found the location convenient. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Kitu Kidogo is an exclusive holiday retreat tucked away in a coastal indigenous forest that has been around for centuries. It comprises of two beautiful cottages made out of coral, sandstone and wood showing off the various textures of the ancient Swahili coastline. Each cottage is dressed with intricately hand carved Lamu furniture, Rajhastani and South African soft furnishings and Afghani and Ethiopian wool Rugs. The walls reflect our travels around the globe. Each wall piece has been carefully selected to fit in with the theme of the cottage giving the spaces an exotic but at the same time a harmonious look. The palm lamp shades highlight the beauty of each piece with its soft glow. What the cottage evokes is memories of the old Africa influenced by the spice trade route! Kitu Kidogo is ideal for families, groups and couples. If you are looking for comfort, style, privacy and personalized service then this is the perfect holiday home for you! ... more   less
