i must have phoned the hotel 8 times reconfirming my booking due to the mess up by my airline with my flights .every time I called , the staff were polite and made no complaints about the amount of times they had to attend to me .I was delighted to find I had been given an upgrade to a suite...

Thank you very much for your review and we are very pleased to hear, that you have enjoyed your stay with us. We have the last indigenous grown coastal forest at The Sands at Nomad. Unfortunately some of those old trees are blocking the direct view of the sea from the main building. All our front suites and bungalows have...

Coupled with that a beautiful pool area, the beach bar with ambience and the tastefully done up rooms and wonderfully friendly staff you have a great holiday in the making. And yes it delivered.. We stayed in the forest view rooms due to...

The Sands at Nomad is on the most beautiful beach in eastern Kenya. We stayed for three nights and should have stayed longer. The rooms were clean and daily service was wonderful. The hotel restaurant was great and very accommodating to my vegetarian eating needs. Guest services, staffed by a wonderful woman (Dorah Z.) made our stay a fabulous five...

We spent 6 nights Aug 2 to Aug 8 2014 at the Sands in a beautiful, huge and well equipped beach bungalow. View from the bungalow is simply stunning. The surrounding grounds are very well maintained, gardeners are working daily. House keeping service very present too, cleaning rooms in details daily and turn down service provided at night. In general...

We had considered a number of hotels in Diani after our plans to visit the coast changed. The travel agent in Nairobi quotes us $350 per night but the cost on trip advisor was much less. So I called the night before and got a room for $100 per night. When we arrived, we realized this was because the hotel...

Thank you very much for your review and I am happy that you have enjoyed your stay with us. Please note, that last minute offers and reduced prices a day before arrival are a common practice for hotels, specially in times of low occupancy! Thanks for understanding and hope to see you back!

Very good beach hotel in Diani. Excellent serivce, staff are very serivce oriented. The hotel is right on the beach, pending on where in the hotel you stay. Chose the bungalows (on the beach) rather than the rooms. Of course the beaches in Diani is white sand - very beautiful. Good restaurant and bar, also set on the beach.

Being at The Sands at Nomads was my pleasure, just can't say how it feels driving from the tarmac rd. down to the hotel with the natural oxygen from the trees. The hotel has a relaxed super friendly staff & the restaurant is fantastic. Will go back soon.

A very relaxing hotel with super friendly staff. Food at the Restaurant "Nomad at the Sands" was great! Especially we liked the fact that the hotel is not so big and a great place to relax! Rooms have very stylish interior and decoration. Also the attached diving School is very well organized, has friendly staff and up to date Equipment.
