I don't know where to start! Do not hesitate to book! This property is so incredible; first, the location is perfect. Walk into town for dinner and shopping. walk down a quick pathway for a dip in the sea, and just walk around the roads and hills nearby for a good hike and amazing views. And then come home and just enjoy the serenity and beauty of the house, the pool, and the yoga mats, weights, anything actually that you might be looking for in a vacation. And to top it off, Katerina is a terrific host - she gave us great recommendations for restaurants, beaches, etc. She was always available by text when we needed help with anything. My only complaint is that it is so far from the United States! I wish I could blink my eyes and be back in that paradise.

This has been our third visit to SK Place Villa Ammo’s, and it gets more and more beautiful each year. The villa is well equipped and the cleaners keep everything spotless. A magnificent spot, excellent location, no place on earth is like it.

We had the most wonderful stay in Crete at Villa Ammos in SK Place. Everything was taken care of, Katerina the host was gracious and knowledgeable, the villa was beautiful as well. Lots of room for a relaxed family holiday - the pool was stunning and the view even more so! We really appreciated the inside and outside sitting and dining areas as well as everything else that the area had to offer. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway

We had a fabulous week in Villa Ammos. The villa is in such a spectacular setting and the sunsets are amazing. Katerina and her staff are so niceand we were very well looked after. It was a really relaxing week with some great restaurant recommendations from Katerina and a very easy walk into Almyrida. We were sad to leave and would love to go back one day.

Ultra modern house with great spaces and facilities including nice pool. Amazing sea views and location very near to sea and the village is almirida with its restaurants and bars. Very attentive owner Katrina who will organise anything for you and lovely discreet housekeepers. We didn’t want to come home!

We have returned from a fabulous week at SK Villas Anemos. The property is of the highest possible quality - both in terms of design and finishing. The view is breathtaking - across the whole bay and the town, set against the beautiful mountains - there is always something to delight in and absorb. Katerina and her team offer a service that is personal, friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble - and everything is made easy. The pool is one of the best we have ever had - and the whole of the outside space is welcoming, green and beautifully kept. The property has a treasure trove of personal furniture, art and ornament which add to the special feel of this villa. Every room has been considered carefully and the details make the experience - wonderful smooth marble, warm and luxurious wood floors, beautifully crafted furnishings - all wonderful. There is a sauna, steam bath and gym room - but, to be honest - just sitting anywhere and gazing at the view is more than enough. Absolutely outstanding accommodation! We had a wonderful stay in Villa Ammos with our family, everything was beautiful. The villa is spotlessly clean, everything is impeccable. We enjoyed the views, sunsets, the good size swimming pool and the proximity to the beach and good restaurants. Amazing villas! Amazing management! Amazing hostess! If you would like a vacation with privacy, peacefulness, adventure and extraordinary beauty, go to SK PLACE. My family of four (2 teenage boys + me and my husband) thoroughly enjoyed the spacious villa for a week. Crete is unique and has many possibilities. With the help of Katerina, the hostess, you will easily discover many excursions. She is a native of Crete and a wealth of knowledge for history and things to do in the area. This was a major bonus for us! We visited the city, Chania, about a 40 minute easy drive for dinner and shopping and exploring the historical town. We ventured to the south part of the island, which was an easy drive with our rental car through the gorge, about an hour. Even the drive is part of the experience where we saw sheep being herded across the street and mountain goats dotted all over the landscape. Katerina recommended this adventure where we met a boat taxi who took us to a beautiful black pebbled beach, got to snorkel and then taxied to another beach for a delicious lunch in a taverna overlooking Grecian Aqua waters and the canyon. Best day of the trip! Another excursion was a morning boating trip to see the caves and terrain and included snorkeling as well. There’s plenty to do in the area, but it’s also fun to stay at the house and swim in the pool and see the beautiful ocean views. Our villa was “Almyra”& was beautifully decorated and super cozy!We watched ships sail in and out, incredible sunsets, and an ever changing landscape. It’s a great place to relax. It’s fully fenced in and private. There are 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. We really couldn’t figure out which was the master b/c they were all SO nice!! There is a nearby beach where you can snorkel and jump off the rocks. The house was stocked with the foods that we requested before we arrived. Fresh olive oil and preserves we’re provided everyday from Katerina. A fully furnished Pergola was by the pool that provided yet another living space. The kitchen was modern and spacious (supplied thoroughly)and living area was roomy and comfortable. No need to turn on tv! A nice speaker system for music. A sweet and flexible housekeeper was also available for us. There are a variety of restaurants, shops and mini markets just a quick walk down to Almyrida town center. Our favorite restaurant in Almyrida was Thalami Taverna (see my review). Another favorite was an Italian restaurant, Don Rosario, a short drive away.
