Very nice resort. Good housekeeping, excellent breakfast, beautiful pools, easy to reach. Car rental heavily recommended. Beds are a bit stiff though. Didn't really have a good night during my stay. People are very friendly.
This was our 1st holiday to Portugal , and was not disappointed , stayed at the Quinta da mar da Luz , as we wanted a quiet place to stay, had a studio room , that had all we needed for a self catering stay,...More
I was on a walking holiday and this place was as billed, very homely, nice decor, fantastic breakfast. It is set out over a large area and accommodation is in blocks - some quite a way from the Reception to warn anyone who has walking...More

It is quite isolated and the nearest pub is probably 15-20 mins walk away which is a very English pub called the Hogs Head. You could also leave the site and walk along the coastal path in to the nearest town. To get the most out of the holiday i would recommend a car to explore fully but it is a very charming area for chilling out and i dont think a taxi to nearest town or indeed to a lovely nearby coastal restaurant would be very much
