This hotel is luxurious but it is the people that make the stay so superb. ELENI, Polychronos and Elina to name but a few. Hotel views are stunning and has beautiful sunrises. Tassia Restaurant is delightful. The food is gorgeous and the owners and waiters very welcoming. One favourite daytime bar is Melina where the coffee and food are high...

We stayed at this hotel for two weeks at the end of August in room 205 from which the daily views were fantastic. It is a family run hotel, nice and peaceful, first rate service and the two ladies running the show, Elena and Eleni are wonderful people, nothing is a bother. We mostly skipped the daily shuttle service to...

Splendid view from our room. The staff are all friendly. I don't know how to describe the hotel other than we were treated as friends. This was our first stay but we are returning next year to meet with all our friends. Thank you for the Greek hospitality.

Recently spent a very relaxing week at this hotel. The good: comfy beds, strong air con, lovely clean pool, varied lunch menu, stunning views, outstanding customer service from a lady called Eleni, free minibus shuttle from the port to the hotel, large free reading library, quiet and relaxed vibe, very child-friendly. The less good: wasps, limited breakfast choices although still...

We returned to this hotel after a 2yr break and were delighted to find that it hadn't changed. It's small and family run. It has a relaxing feel to it so if you just want to chill this is the place for you. Nothing is too much trouble for Eleni and Elena and we miss them already. The view from...

Myself, my husband and my 11 year old son stayed here for two perfect weeks. The hotel is superb, we are lucky enough to stayed in many hotels across the world and The Almyra really is one of our favourites. The hotel is spotless and as other reviewers have said ,beautifully decorated. It has a very homely feel and from...

Great place to stay just slightly away from the hustle and bussle of the village itself, but near enough to walk down. Also they offer a free minibus shuttle service up and down - great if you don't fancy the 10 mins walk back at the end of the evening up what is quite a steep hill. What makes the...

I'm a little late writing this review as we stayed in August 2015. The hotel is wonderful and it really is the staff that make it. Nothing is too much trouble from hiring a car to recommending places to go. One night I even left my shawl in a restaurant out of town and no longer had my car to...
