What a find! We arrived quite late in the evening and were welcomed by Juan. He made it clear that we were to treat his house as our house. He even produced a kettle so we didn't miss out on our cups of tea and cleared a space in the fridge for our use! We made good use of the...

We came in for the Feria & the bullfights. The location of this place is historic, peaceful & beautiful. It's like a home away from home. Juan made us feel very welcomed. We had the top flat. Wish we could have stayed longer. The Asador, a sidewalk cafe around the corner, served some delicious steaks. If you are ever in...

Priego de Cordoba is a perfect place to stay if you travel from Cordoba to Granada and want to visit some authentic Andalusian town. Just don't expect lots of restaurants, shopping or night life options, it's a rather calm place. La Posada Real has a great location right in the historical center of the town. The clean and cozy rooms...

We liked being in the old part of town, in a quiet area. The room was basic and suitable. There was a very nice kitchen available to all. Juan was very helpful and answered any questions. We took a fantastic 20K hike to "La Ermita" and back. And we really enjoyed walking around the old town.

We had an apartemento instead of a habitación, which gave us plenty of space and light. There was a kitchen, which we did not use, and the bedroom opened to an inner patio. Also one floor up was entrance to roof top terrace. This area needs new furniture, for there was no place to sit and enjoy. However, upon arrival,...

If you want to experience Andalucia as a family friend, rather than a traveler, this B & B is for you. The house is in the old center of town which is car-free--winding, pedestrian only streets. The proprietor lives in the house and welcomes you as a guest. They live downstairs, and the three rooms are upstairs, with a view...

We only stayed one night on our bike tour but Juan was charming and helpful. The B&B is in part of the old medieval part of the town - windy streets & then the glorious clift top panarama. Our room was lovely and overlooking a little courtyard. WE had use of a kitchen & fridge (not that we needed it)...

We stayed in Priego de Cordoba for 5 nights. It's an excellent location for visiting other places near the Subbeticas Park. Juan made us very welcome. The room was comfortable, and being in the old part of the city it was very quiet - no cars allowed. Anything you want - ask Juan. He speaks slower if asked, he doesn't...

Please note that this hotel is in Priego de Córdoba, a town 100 km from Córdoba proper in Spain. There is a friendly proprietor however -- he courteously cancelled our reservations when we discovered the error.

“There are two rooms that overlook the little street and one that overlooks the patio. This hotel would be great for a family because all the rooms are on the second floor together and have a little common room at the top of the stairs and a shared porch. Our kids stayed in their own room across this common landing and their aunts stayed next to them.”
