The hotel was clean, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was really good. There is free wifi, and plenty of rooms that are quiet and quite large, the bed was comfy. Whilst in the bar area the staff chat and make you feel really welcome.

The receptionist was appeared disinterested when we checked in and simply pointed to our rooms. I had a large room accessed through a maze of corridors which made it awkward to access with cases. the room is old fashioned, not in an antique way, just dated. The location is very good, right in the village itself, with access to restaurants...

This place could certainly do with a facelift however the room was clean and the staff were all very friendly so no complaints re the venue. English breakfast was ok however the eggs Benedict was pretty horrendous. No fresh coffee either which is truly disappointing with a hangover!

The function room we were in was first class clean and well maintained. The buffet we had was excellent the potato wedges deserve a special mention, crisp not grease...

Not the dining experience that we were looking for: I remembered a friend of mine dining at The Lion and Swan just before a music gig a few years ago, so thought we would pop in and give it a try - thought it would be a change from pub grub. We ordered a tonic water and a glass of...

Had a lovely one night stay - room was comfortable and basic amenities available. Staff were very welcoming staff upon arrival. Didn't eat or drink here as the bar closed early due to it being bank holiday.

My fiancé, his brother and myself stayed here last night. We couldn't fault it! The food was lovely, the staff were very friendly and the water bed was unexpected but surprisingly comfy! Would definitely return.

I booked a 1 night stay at the lion and swan hotel for myself and my wife. The hotel was clean and the staff were very attentive. The room had a superb 6 foot wide water bed that was so comfy. Breakfast was fantastic and everything i wanted. My wife loved every minute and is already planning a return visit
